I'm thinking about give this one a go..
I'm looking for a comfortable poly for a full job. I'm happy with syngut but that thing is breaking after 3-4 hours and thats almost one stringjob everyday..

I'm looking for a comfortable poly, that has feel (for a poly of course), reasonable durability (around 14 hours).

Should i try it? I've heard wonders about this one.

it is comfortable for a poly. nice power. durability is pretty good. but tension maintenance isn't the greatest. but it's a poly so i guess that's the tradeoff

If you check out the 2008 poll on stringforum.net, you'll see that PolyStar Energy is the only poly to finish Top 10 in each: power, durability, and comfort. These three normally don't go together, which makes it such an intriguing string.
Realize though, that PolyStar calls there 1.20mm =17g. If you want more durability, try the 1.25(16L) or 1.30 (16g).
I recently tried the 1.30mm, although in polys I prefer thinner gauges. It was very comfortable and lasted forever; over 15 hours of solid hitting.

If there's anything else you want to know, contact me through my website.

I string quite a bit with PolyStar Energy. I rank it as #1. Much more arm friendly than BB. A good string for almost all levels of player.

I like the profile better. This string lasted 2 hours for me and turned to mush. Just my opinion.

Many of my customers have switched over from BB, and have been very happy. Even at 3-6 lbs. tighter, comfort is much better. And they cannot believe the price difference.

I also noticed the rise in popularity of this string. I honestly think its because of Davydenko's performance during the ATP Finals tournament.

Maybe because Davydenko plays with it or maybe because BigT one of their distributors. I just got a few sets from Big T and the strings are O’K. Nothing special.
Loosing tension pretty fast. Currently I’m testing a few other brands as now off season and I like to see if I can make a switch. So far, I’m not impressed with Polystar.

Although everyone is entitle to their own opinion and I don't expect everyone to like the same strings, but I don't actually recall sending you a few sets...can you confirm that?

Tension loss? Boy, I haven't experienced that problem. Yeah, it's a poly, but tension loss leader would be Babolat PHT. I've strung with PolyStar for years, and rank it very high.

Yes, with each win, my website gets more hits. When he beats Fed and Nadal, then it goes through the roof.
But that's only because they are new here in the U.S. In Europe they have been popular for decades.

I strung my open pattern Vantage with PE and played yesterday and really struggled with it. I think it was maybe too powerful and I had less control.

18x20 for me all the way, I feel I get more spin too.
Im still oooing and aaahing over the benefits of both PE and Alu and with probably have both in my bag from now on.
