Looks like I am wasting time on my computer, although I'm actually waiting for coverage of the men's final while drinking some decaf and having some strawberries and blueberries. Mmm.

I second that - too young to have a snoring girlfriend, I'd just stick with beer water and food for at least a few years.

Yeah, I want to be cool like him, only not in TX, plus we were pals in our prior. And too bad about the rain delay in London. I wanted to see the final too. I was drinking at the club downstairs until 5am when they closed, and the girls were flipping through channels like crazy looking for Wimbledon for me. I bet they had resumed play minutes after I passed out.......:(

Thats how I felt when I first bought the 1980 wimbledon final. I wasnt born yet when it hapenned, but thats fine. I only saw various clips of the 2008 final because I was washing a car, but I plan on watching it all on dvr soon. .... Edit: I saw it & think that 1980 is still the greatest match. 2008 is #2.

The only thing I do while reading this thread is posting here so go figure.

I saw that fight live too. Really good, close fight. The only other fight that Ive seen live was the Chuck Liddell vs. Silva fight and I have to say that that one was a little bettter.

Trying to finish up an edit but having my daughter say something to me every 30 seconds or so and expecting me to "look" at something in a magazine. Which I keep doing. So I am about to give up on editing and go watch a film or something and have a pint.

Amazingly, as soon as I stopped working she lost interest in me and went to her room. Usually if I start working, daughter, step kids, partner, the cat! all appear out of the woodwork like beetles and start clamouring around. This is in the computer in the office. But if I use my laptop in my room then I am being antisocial :) No kidding, my daughter will text or call my handy to say, hallo! and just to see what I am doing. When summer vacation is over...woo-hoo! But then I miss them. :)

Sobbing at Peter's news about today's tennis results in Sweden and waiting for the time I leave to go downtown to see the Washington Kastles play their first home match against the Boston Lobsters. Serena will be there and hoping to see Martina Navratilova too!

Watching the entire Wimbledon final for the first time with Shostakovich playing on headphones, eating wasabi edamame, posting useless information, releasing CO2 at regular intervals...and other gases periodically.

I am drinking beer (Baltika No. 7, 1L, RUR85, can, chilled), and getting ready for an afternoon nap so I can be well-rested for Thursday night at the "Youth Nightclub" downstairs.:)

You're holdin' out are ya? I forgot who posted that question. It's honestly too difficult to sum up Canadian females into one or two sentences. The country is very different in different areas so you have a little of everything. In the cities, you have the stylish ladies who tend to be a tad abrupt in their personalities, but are generally more career driven and educated. The west coast is very laid back so you have your environmentalists, your natural gals, etc. I have never been to the east coast so I can't offer an opinion. Canadian women I would say are pretty cool for the most part. We tend to be more laid back but put a high importance on career and family as well as social causes. Was that adequate enough? Again, it's difficult as I could describe the personalities and appearance of half a dozen close friends who are vastly different.

Ah ok. I thought you were from the east coast that's why I asked. But your insights are helpful nonetheless. Thanks.

Nope, I live in the central prairie zone. I do visit the west coast regularly but know very little of the east personally.

Shopping in a crowded Sudanese market and carrying a frying pan home. A man mistakes my frying pan for a gun and starts chasing me, calling me a gun-toting extremist. He throws a grenade at me and misses. I fear that he took some shrapnel.

I am listening to Mark Knopfler, watching a DVD of Borg versus McEnroe (1980 Wimbledon), drinking a Stolichnaya, and posting useless information on this forum.
