My office is completely divided on Ernie's color. Some of us think he's orange and some of us think he's brown. Then you have the few who are afraid to commit and they go with burnt sienna.

    Personally I think he's orange.

Ernie is colorless. He is Ernie. Can't you see that?

Its like asking what color is the wind?

HAHAHAHA, that is funny you say that because now we've expanded our argument to what race they are and whether or not Grover has a secret desire to beat up Elmo.

I wouldn't know for sure, I was a Mr. Roger's kind of guy, but I recall him being orange and the other guy being yellow.

That is too funny because the first thing I thought of as I read the thread title was "possible burnt sienna"...and then I read the post. I can't remember off the top of my head but do feel he is more of a light rusty brownish red than an orange.

I'd say Ernie is orange. But I am inclined to agree with you, because women tend to have better color perception ;)
This is, however, a truly important matter. Someone call Martha Stewart!

Also, can't remember where I heard the quote you have on your location :)

Erine is Orange, Bert is Yellow. Any kid who grew up watching the street should know that.
