So many TWers bemoan the general slow-down of the game across all surfaces.

Moreover, with the loss of a lot of indoor carpet tournaments, truly fast courts are fairly rare.

Based on what you've seen or heard, what tournament or tournaments have the fastest courts? Big tourney or small, indoor or outdoor. I'd assume most are indoors, or maybe something like the Halle grass event.

Queens club is fairly quick. Cincinnati MS is pretty fast for a hard court as well.

US Open is a quick hardcourt. I think its faster than Wimbeldon in its current slowed up form

No, no matter how much you want it to be.

I previously said I thought Queens had slowed down as a warm-up event for Wimbledon, but I stand corrected.

    Queens
    Lyon
Basel seems fairly quick (probably not the quickest)
    Halle

Lyon has been the fastest tournament for years... but the carpet is gone, so now I don't know.

Wimbledon and Beijing... in one word... NO

ps: no matter who many physics laws you try to break with your theory of relative mass...

Many people were saying how fast Beijing was early in the tournament and said Nadal had no chance. You are ridiculously biased in ignorant of that though I guess.

^^Probably. Indoors and fast HC are big no nos for Rafa. Murray can beat him there.

Clay, grass, slow and medium HC are another story.

Yeah and if gras has been played on for 2 weeks it tends to become a little sandy witch slows it down even more,,

Yet Nadal and Federer only had 5 breaks in over 60 games played in that final. I'm pretty sure Nadal would be able to break much more if it was green clay.

i dont know about that... where is beijing? in the north pole?

and the speed of the surface was mesured in terms of how far a ball weights regarding the spped it travels... you dont discuss with me if you dont understand the concept of weight and mass of an object. to discuss with me you need at least a 2 digit iq...

many people... who? you see... to an academic like me you cant jus throw bs like that and not quote some sources! reliable ones..not your opinion!

I don't need to. I remember people mentioning that Beijing was "Lightning Fast". I screwed up over the mass thing. No need to keep bringing it up. It is easily done as you can hit the ball harder when the ball comes faster at you. Blocking a huge serve and blocking a drop shot and you'll know the difference with how far it travels. Not related to mass though they are opposites.
