I have a couple of cracked and unusable racquets in my closet. I've stripped all re-usable parts off of them, but I don't know what to do with them now. Can they be recycled? I'd hate to throw them away.

Hang em on your wall! A friend of mine does that with the frames he goes through! Great addition to a "man cave" or office.

When I was a kid my mother would take my broken racquets (wood then) as well as my cracked hockey sticks (which she sawed off to shorten) to support the tomato plants in her organic garden.

You can use them as "rage racquets" if you lose a match and want to destroy something, just finish breaking the racquet. That way you dont mess up the.good frames.
