What do i need to buy to get a tennis net?

    Hi guys,

    A friend of mine has a court at home with tennis lines and two holes for the net posts.
    But, he doesn't have a net and we want to install one.

    What do we need?
    2 - Netposts
    2 - Singles sticks
    1 - Net
    1 - Middle Strap to keep the net lower in the middle

    Are we missing something? Is there some kind of wire to secure the net?
    Can someone enlighten us?

    Is it a hard court or clay????? Also depending where the net holes are you may not need singles sticks. Depending on the net you purchase the net cable (it's not a wire but cable) can be included.

    Also is there an eye hook or at least a spot on the court drilled already to attach the net center strap.

    In the UK Edwards Tennis Equipment has all that you need....

    Hi gavna, thanks for your help. I already have a place to buy the stuff. Didn't realized if there's a hook on the middle. Assuming from the position of the holes, single sticks will be needed.

    So, have i only missed the Net cable? How much lenght do i need?

    The length from the center of net post to center of net post should be 42 feet. Need more than that in net cable I would think though to adjust the tension.

    Cables always come with new nets from my experience.
