what do you guys think about this article on Roman Prokes?

I read this back in the fall in the Wall Street Journal......I personally think some of the prices are baloney and that average Joe's are getting duped. My advice is FREE, and most expensive string job is $55 +tax (VS Gut) No disrespect to Roman, but c'mon.....

but you have to look at the economics and the location.

Roman is in NYC and overhead costs must be a fortune there. Also, I believe he is on court with those guys so it isn't like a 10 minute talk in the shop but poss. 1 hr plus time away and depending on traffic...

Also, Roman has immense credibility. If it's good enough for Andre, it's good enough for you.

If you think tennis is expensive.. go to golf. top teaching pro's charge 400+/hr and perfecting your clubs to your spec. will run 500+ a set, not including shafts,grips,clubhead
