when you play? I normally just wear a sweatshirt until I get warmed up. If it's real cold, I'll wear some adidas poly sweats but I'm thinking about getting a full tracksuit from TW. hate sweating in sweatshirts...

has anyone tried any of Under Armour's cold weather gear?

same as summer... They put a dome over the courts in the winter and they are heated.

I wear a warm up suit for warm ups and regular shorts and shirts during actual competition. If it is really cold I will wear a long sleeve drifit/poly shirt and wear warmup pants instead of shorts.

Cotton tee shirt instead of DriFit, polar fleece vest and typical sweat pants. Don't need the headband, nor the overgrip, like in summer.

In Miami we only have two seasons--hot and hotter. So, I wear the same clothes as in the hot weather.

cotton shirts instead of polyester, jacket over the shirt, shorts, and adidas warm-up track pants over the shorts.

Same stuff as i normally do, maybe with a track jacket on. I cant play tennis well wearing long pants for some reason, so I'll never don the sweats.

I usually don't need pants as it doesn't get THAT cold in Houston. Usually just a track jacket once I'm warmed up. I heat up pretty good so once I'm warm I can just wear what I normally wear.

Get a warm up suit. You can probably get a decent one for less than fifty bucks from TW.

i don't like wearing sweatshirts while playing for some reason, so when it's cold, i usually wear a longsleeve drifit w/ a cotton t-shirt on top and some shorts. i'll wear a sweatshirt when im sitting down and cooled off.

In Maine the only option you have is indoor, there is no outdoor winter season. Unless of course you have a some crazy snow-shoes.

    Question probably should have been:

"What Do You Wear in the Winter and What Part of the Country Do You Play In?"

    But pickiness aside.... ;)

Houston, TX, area, and most of the year we wear the same kind of tennis clothes as the rest of the year. If it gets at all cold (for here), just a warm-up top over regular shorts and t-shirt. Occasionally, warm up bottoms, too. Most of the time we don't go below freezing more than a couple of times during the winter (and then, only briefly), so unless it's raining you can just wear pretty standard tennis clothes and still play outdoors year round. Some are more cold sensitive than others, though, so choices will always vary a bit. What I really hate is when it's truly nippy outside and I break a real sweat playing. Always hated sweat running down the back of my neck when it’s cold and windy. ;)
