At a tournament, my mixed doubles partner's father took pictures. This is one of them and I'm wondering what grip this is? I'm not quite sure really.

^^ agreed, Western, But its funny how your finger is like pointing, "Hey guy, the balls going over there. See my full extension? try to catch it!!" Imagination going off now. Nice pic.

I think I might have taken the "track the ball with your finger" a little too far lol.

Don't your shorts prevent you from moving properly on court?

I seriously suggest that you buy shorts that fit better. But perhaps I'm using old fashion logic that pants should not be falling down constantly.

Perhaps you are subconsciously telling your opponents that you think they are losers.

    That service picture is cool.

I was thinking of people who do this, as I thought of doing this on purpose myself once. (it's a cheap way to lineup the contact point)

But then I thought, at least for the groundstrokes, is this a clue for the observant opponent to know ahead of time where you are going with the ball?

And if it is, I wonder if you can utilize the open stance to point in one direction and then "fool" them by hitting it somewhere unexpected?

I don't point to where the ball is going, I point to where the ball was coming from.

Why are you "semi-retired" and just a couple of days ago you were "retired"? I guess that whole thread you made up really was a lie about your parents not letting you play. :)

Somewhere b/w an extreme Semi-West to a conservative Western. You're playing still? Good to know.

Supposedly he quit the team because his parents would not let him play anymore. Funny you mention he's from a rich area because he complains his family is poor or most money only goes to his sister. :-? :)

Definite Western, and in some pictures looks nearly semi-western. I don't really think it's that atypical.

And what are these petty middle school girl rumor-spreading posts? Pathetic.

What? Oh, are they posts from bugmenot? I can see that he POSTED but I can't see WHAT he posted since he is a blocked user.

Yes. I'm semi-retired (my sig) as of late for high school tournaments. I don't take it as serious as before (you could say) so instead of putting me in Singles, Coach put me in mixed dubs. Go figure.

Or maybe she's trying to tell me I'm not good enough for singles! Hah, who knows.

They aren't falling down? Look pretty tight on his waist to me. Perhaps I'm using the logic that something falling down means said something has to be loose for it to fall down;)
