Here are 3 different sets of head pallets I have. I would like to know which ones they are. One of the sets has a model TK76. The one set I'm really curious about is Black in color and is made of a harder almost plastic material. This black pair does not fit the hairpin of the Head Prestige 600, its slightly wider.

My guess is the two that don't taper at the top are probably from some '90s Prestige models that has the plastic cap on the top of the grip handle. The other is simply a TK76 pallet which were used from between the Ti and Liquidmetal lines. They were then replaced with the TK82 pallets currently being used.

    Some should resize those...

I believe the black one could be from the liquid metal series or perhaps the Ti.

ok, the grey ones that don't taper are from the older prestige line with the brown collar, the tapered grey one is for the liquidmetal and pretty much any of the prestige after that.

This Black one is still a mystery, it will not fit the prestige, it's slightly wider inside and has play to it. This pair may not be head, does anybody else use a similar pallet system?

Read up please, these pallets are all well over 5 years old. They are def NOT liquidmetal.

Please people, if you're not sure, don't give me uneducated guesses. This thread is starting to grow with bad guesses.

If they have hard plastic on the outside, I'd say it's either the Head Pro line or the Master Line from the late 80's. Can't tell without seeing the inside dimensions. I can't remember clearly, but one is more rectangular than the other.

The taper pallet can be found on the TT radicals and pro tours 280/630 as well as the Head Classic Mid. However, the ones on the radicals and pro tours are a little bit shorter than the Head Classic Mids.

The non-taper gray can be found on the earlier prestige models that had the cap. It's a rounder pallet.

The black pallets are found on a lot of early non-prestige head frames around the time frame of the original prestige pro.
If it's a early frame with a cap on the pallet, regardless of color(i had a racket with a white cap) most likely it has this black pallet.

I've tried to exchange the black pallets with the prestiges, but it didn't fit. The inside are of wider dimensions, while the sides doesn't sit flush with the handle.

    Hope that helps.

    That helps, thank you.
I wonder if there's any demand for that black pallet. I've started making molds of my pallets since I can't get them anymore.

In the 80s HEAD made a line of rackets with the mold of Graphite Pro. The black one could be from those.

I don't think there are much demands for those pallets as they don't fit the prestige line/radical line that are prevalent nowadays. So there aren't any use for them unless you intend to use them on the earlier non-prestige cap head rackets.

I remembered there was also a black pallet that fitted the prestige series and it was made from a firmer material similar to the black pallet you have. If memory serves me right, i found those on the lime green prestige 600.
This pallet was also rounder like the earlier pc600.
