Yesterday during my hitting session, one of the players in the next court hit one of his ball into mine. He said "hey, can you hand me my ball please...thanks." As i was walking through the piles of tennis balls, he said "its the Porno Ball" Not understanding what he meant, i saw a ball that didnt have a wilson logo on it. Instead, it has three X's on it, and at that point i knew that it was his "Porno" Ball. What manufacture creates this ball with three X's? It didnt have any company on it...I've also saw balls with One X, and Two X's as well. Any feedback? Thanks.

Probably a practice ball. Sometimes tennis balls don't meet the specifications of the company and are 2nds. They block out the brand name...

haha, we have one in our basket too. My friend calls it the hardcore ball. haha, and i have one with 3 X's printed over the normal prince tour label. I think its there to indicate a defect, so it can only be used as a practice ball.

So an American Twist serve using this XXX ball is the proverbial screwball, eh?
Wonder what the French twist serve will be called?

Don't know in Boliva, but Big 5 has them. They are right next to the huge bargain shoes. For me the are not worth the small price you save.

theyre playable, usually its just cosmetic defects, like messed up color, or imperfections in the rubber casing.

  13. probably just practice balls, and the guy made jokes calling it a porno ball and then applied it to normal language.

In Golf they are called X outs and some sort of defect was found. They are sold at a discounted price.
