    I have 6 Wilson PS 7.0.
    Specs say 27 inches.

I measured them all....strung...from the bottom of the butt to the top of the headguard.
Not a single one reached 27.0. They were all about 26 3/4.

    How is this possible

Do you string the mains really tight? There is some variation in length - I don't know what Wilson's tolerances are there. I did buy a PK that was supposed to be 27 inches but it was actually 27 1/4 - but I actually liked the extra 1/4 inch.

Because your frames are old and warped. They're collapsing under string tension

As the previous posted indicated, stringing the mains too tightly can reduce the length ever so slightly. But I've measured unstrung racquets at under 27 inches, so it's not necessarily a stringing issue. My old Gamma G325s were all a shade under 27 inches unstrung, as were my Head Radicals.

Frame lengths are measured unstrung. Depending on how its strung, the head of the racket will move or warp whatever you wanna call it a certain way. Its not always a bad thing, as I know Head rackets do this quite a bit however this is a good reason to get your rackets strung by someone who knows what they are doing and string rackets on proper stringing machines. Rackets will come out different on 2 point and 6 point machines.

I use a bab star #2 stringer. 6 point obviously.
I string my rackets using one piece at 60lbs.
