I was having trouble this morning w/ my shoes. They didn't come untied. I was wondering if I should start with the left lace and loop around the right lace or vice versa.

    Which way would be better?

Or.....should I just go with the double bunny ears? Which ear would I wrap around first?

I'll get around to creating a youtube video showing the multiple ways later.

For clay courts I put women's hair ties around my shoes (usually four of them) to not only secure the laces from coming undone, but also to help me keep my footing on the clay.

Hard courts, I usually just tie them regularly and slap on some duct tape so they don't come undone.

I remember seeing a website that is all about tying shoes.

    Ah, here it is: http://www.fieggen.com/shoelace/knots.htm

I think that a bigger issue for tennis players is getting the proper tension over the instep so that the foot doesn't slide forward easily during hard stops.

Or you guys could just have your mom come out on the court and tie your shoes for you

I like to do the "runner's loop" at the top to help cinch the shoe around my ankle.

I still can't figure this stuff out. Does the rabbit go around the tree and back into the rabbit hole or does it go out of the rabbit hole and around the tree?

Serious question guys...thanks for your help.

Okay. I posted this as a complete joke knowing somebody would 'actually'
    help me.

However, that YOUTUBE video is awesome. Who wouldn't want to save 4 days of their life!!!

Yes.....We are stupid. Unfortunately/Fortunately, we'll have four more days out in the world to be stupid with each other now!

I've just got to practice instead of watching the tv.

The movie Big Daddy gives a decent tutorial on how to do it.
