Hi guys I was just wondering what the most popular cause of wearing out shoes is?
Toe dragging for most...
what is toe dragging?
Exactly what it sounds like. You drag your to into your shot and/or after your shot.
Also dragging your back foot on your serve...
Holes on the inner for sure! The Propulse 3 was my biggest mistake, I made a hole on the inner of thoes shoes so quick is wasn't even funny!
When you run and stop the inside of the soles, take quite a beating, the outside is more sturdier.
This applies for running forwards and sideways, and since this is usually what happens the most in tennis the toe area will always wear down quicker, and when you turn your feet for the forehand it ruins the toes as well.
Make the toe part more durable, Nike.
I think a persons weight really contributes to rate of wear.....
so people play with their feet glued to courts?
Judging from all your post, you don't seem to know anything about tennis...
I agree very much.
Gravity + sand in the paint on the court
personally, quick changes of direction would be the main culprit.
Why is sliding not up there? :O I guess because it is unnecessary haha
That would go under other or holes in soles!
That is why I wear out my shoes so fast
Playing tennis in them
i mean ive been playing for almost 4 years and my first pair were some vapor 5 and they are still in very good condition and i have never worn out a tennis shoe yet and so far i have 5 pairs of shoes( the vapors, one 2.3 , one propulse 2, some adidas dont know the name and a new of 4.3s)
and i play 4 times a week 2 hours moving from side to side with very good footwork
Darn Nike shoes busted at the toe with less than 10 hours of play..
^^^^How do you not wear out shoes then?
