It's a Mehndi design of some sort, Venus has it on her throat.

I don't think so. If its mehndi, then its just a simple design. I've got it done a couple of times for indian weddings, although most of the time I have it on my hands.

The Indian designs and the Arabic Henna designs are very different. They have the Arabic designs which usually are bigger and less intricate. More flowy.

I've never had mine done like that intrinsic despite being indian. I just don't like it, but both designs look really nice.

Never mind. I could have read the caption under the image prior to posting an epic fail of a question :(

They are classified that way in my Henna/Mehndi/Heena book. I actually find the Indian one easier to put on than the flowy one. My hand control is better repeating and doing the small stuff than making pretty flowing lines.

saram, they both had them on in their matches today. One of the commentators pointed them out on Venus, but I was only half listening/watching.

I think its amazing that anyone has the patience and the skill to draw such intrisic designs. I've never done it on anyone or myself, but for my cousin's wedding, we had this lady who was an expert do it for all the females and I felt so bad for her, but I guess its okay because shes paid to do it.
