i think nike shoes are significantly wider than adidas, i cant even wear regular adidas (not tennis shoes) because they are too narrow, but i can wear nike

im currently using new balance 1003 the red and black one, i like the comfort, fit and durability as compared to the 1002. and side to side and foreward movement is decent. i also like nike shoes as-well. im tryin to look for nike or new balance shoes that keep you low to the ground but have good comfort durability and movement. any suggestions?

    The Adidas Barricade V

    The Barricade.
Very very nice. Good grip, nice and lightweight, durable, and I like the colors =]
Downside is for me, it didn't last long. It took me about 4 month on these, playing about once every other week, to wear the soles out. And the shoe is black, so continuous play in the heat might burn and give blisters to your feet.
But the good thing is 6-month warranty on it, so I can get like 6 pairs for price of one. =]

Diadora Speed Pros! I'm a toe dragger and went through barricades in a few months. These last me 2-3x as long on gritty hardcourts playing 2-4x/week.

The barricades definitely have more cushioning but the diadora's are light and have more torsion stability to protect my ankles on side to side movement.

I just recently switched to Adidas shoes and got the a3 accelerators and absolutely love them. Fits my high arch perfectly and the 6 month guarantee is a plus.

I'm currently using Asics Gel Savage Omni on hardcourts, and Wilson Trance Rally II Black on clay.

I use K-Swiss Defier's which are very comfortable, especially for my wide feet. I can't fit into Nike anythings (except skate shoes). Will consider Adidas next time I need a pair.

currently, i'm rockin' the adidas barricade ii mid. i need to have a mid tennis shoe because i roll my ankles constantly. i have a pair of nike zoom trainer mids (the reissues) for a rainy day.

i have very narrow feet, so i stay pretty close to some adidas and nikes.

Asics Gel Resolution - Normally I get blisters all the time but not with these shoes. I'm impressed.

Barricade 5- best of the barricades IMO

Barricade 3- a little heavy, but very stable.

Wilson Trance- Still have these from the TW playtest. I wear them occasionally. I wrote a long review on them if you want to search. Basically solid and stable. Not too comfortable.

NB 1002: nice weight, avg durability. Overall above average.

Recently went through Fila Punto II- garbage shoe. Poor stability, not durable, not comfortable.
