I just received in the mail... All of Lux strings are poly correct?
    This string says multi mono..

Is this a multfilament string or is it still a poly.

    thanks, ken

It's sort of a hybrid, I think. Multiple strands of poly, instead of the usual monofilament.

It is kind of a mix between poly and multi.

    Well................

There are several reviews and comments on the boards already, however Nuke is correct as it is a poly hybrid made with soft poly encased in a firmer poly. The idea is that you get the feeling of a multi on soft hits and the firmness of a poly on hard hits. It is also supposed to hold tension better. We tested it and found it is like other Lux strings in stiffness but does not work as well on the soft touch shots as predicted. Still if you like Lux string you will like M2 as it has the control, spin and better tension control. Check out this link.
