What machine to buy?

I am a newbie to stringing and looking for a machine to buy. I do see stringing more than 50 racquets in a year. I am pretty sure that I want either a crank of electric motor. I do have a max of around $800.
Has anyone ever used the Mutual Power ATLAS 8600?
I am torn between 2 the Alpha Revo 4000 and Mutual Power ATLAS 8600.
I know the Alpha Revo 4000 has a great reputation but I can not find anything on the Mutual Power ATLAS 8600. Has anyone used it and is the motor sturdy?
Opinions on any machines listed below

Here is what I was looking at
Alpha Revo 4000 $549
Gamma Progression ST II $629
gAMMA X-ST $659
Mutual Power ALPINE 6600 $529

Electric
The Silent Partner e.Stringer $469
Mutual Power Hercules 880 $549
Mutual Power ATLAS 8600 $800

Thanks in advance

Revo for me

I just received my Revo a few days ago and love it. I was using a Klippermate for a while and moved up. For the money I don't think you can beat it. The customer service and warranty are great and the machine works like a dream.

Greg at NewTech was super nice and helpful

Thanks for your responses. This forum is one of the reason the Alpha Revo 4000 is one of my top choices.

I am still curious about the Mutual Power ATLAS 8600, it looks to be a step up from the SP and Hercules. At least from the picture it looks to be but I am hoping that someone has some personal experience with one and their opinion is welcome.

to chose a stringing machine

Hi deHeinz,

I have an information sheet that describes all the pro's and contra's of the different stringing machine systems based on technical arguments and effects on the stringjob and on the racquet.

Anybody who is interested to receice this information just let me know.

If you could put that information on the machines out on this post that would be greatly appreciated. I think only for the Alpha Revo and the Mutual Power ATLAS 8600

info for stringing machines

The information does not show the comparison of machines of differerent suppliers, it shows the difference between basic systems that are on the market;
- Direct racquet support against Indirect support.
- Lock out compared with electronic, dropweight and Spring driven.
- FLying clamps compared with single and double action fixed clamps.

I think it is best to choose the system that you want first and narrow your search down to a certain supplier after that.

The info is much too extensive to put it on a post.
So send an email to stringtechno@hetnet.nl if you want me to send the info top you.

Stringtechno.
