Hi all, I am completely in love with my PC600 but since that model is coming to its end (who knows the stock of TW) I am wondering what racquet among the current models (any brand) could be a nice replacement for the PC600. I was thinking mostly about the AG200 but I really don't see nothing that compares to the specs of the PC600...
Please don't tell me to get a flexpoint prestige, I hate those weird technologies.

I'd say mw 200g if you can find one but if not the aerogel is indeed as close as they come. Definitely not the redondo as some might suggest.

I'd second that they don't feel that close. The Redondo's more HL and plays much easier with equivalent control. Redondo won't give you that same fire-power as the PC600 anyway.

I say at least wait until around US Open time when the new Prestiges are (supposedly) coming out. It's supposed to be going back to its roots. What have you got to lose?

Let me try to understand your logic...
You are "completely in love with" your PC600.
You want to buy a current model racquet that plays as much like the PC600 as possible - because you are afraid that the PC600 will not be available soon.

    Well...
If you have the money to buy a current racquet - or racquets - that is like the PC600, then why in the world don't you buy a PC600 (or two or three) now???
Even if you find another model that plays exactly like the PC600 (which you won't - but let's assume you do) - that racquet will also be discontinued very soon.
Have you not noticed that racquet models are replaced within about 2 years these days?

Tron, you may just want to stock up on PC600s either at TW or from the big auction site.

    Deuce nailed it.

Decent conditioned PC600 can be found easily that is if you want to stick to the older models. They pop up on TW forum and the big auction site all the time. If you're not sensitive to the feel or super picky, then just grab 10 of the current models that TW is selling. That will last you a life time.

Case in point, since I've set out to get my hands on those back-in-the-80's and 90's models (i.e. Prestige Pro, Pro 600, TXP, Tour, etc.), I have found and bought them all for decent price. It took me less than a month of constant searching. Maybe I'm just lucky. :)
