Ok, so I stumbled upon this picture on his facebook page, and I just can't figure out what Prince model this is. It has started to annoy me, so I'm now throwing it out to you guys...thanks.

Looks like a black to me, can't imagine and see no reason to why it would be anything else? Best thing is, you can't middle a ball any better than that, legend!

Well, I'm sure that you guys are right that it is the Black. :) Going through the different Exo's on TW, I just convinced myself that it couldn't be the Black, because of the greyish look. But it's probably just the sunlight making it look that way.
Anyway, I couldn't help think the same thing about him hitting the sweet spot. Absolute amazing hand eye coordination and timing...

HELLO!??!?! It says SILVER on the top. That thing's way too big to be an EXO Black. It's just not the latest EXO Silver, it's last year's.

    Photoshop Assignment

That "cork" is courtesy of years of hitting with the owner of the sweetest two-handed forehand of all time, Pancho Segura. You could Photoshop Segura into that picture so easily coz Connors backhand is a carbon copy of Segura's forehand. Pretty sure that's a Exo 3 Black but it almost looks like a junior racquet with his hands just about swallowing the shaft/throat.

Agreed. Pretty sure it's the Silver. Surprised he's using that stick...seems to light for a guy like him.

Yep, blew up the picture really big and it looks like it says SILVER.
Dang, I thought it was cool that he used the Mono, too bad he switched.

I'm glad that I was not crazy in thinking it wasn't the Black in the first place. You're right about the silver...It's a Prince Exo3 Silver (old model).

    http://princetennis.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/prince-exo3-silver-tennis-racquet.jpg

It really does have some crazy specs (from TW):

    Super OS Specs
    Head Size:
    118 sq. in. / 761 sq. cm.
    Length: 27.5 inches / 70 cm
    Strung Weight: 9.6oz / 272g
    Balance: 7 pts Head Heavy
    Swingweight: 334
    Stiffness: 69
Beam Width: 27-30-27 mm Tapered Beam
    Composition: 100% Graphite
    Power Level: High
    Swing Speed: Moderate-Fast
    Grip Type: Resi Soft
    String Pattern:
    16 Mains / 19 Crosses
    Mains skip: 7T.9T.7H.9H
    One Piece
    No shared holes
    String Tension: 57-67 pounds

I'm sure Jimbo doesn't "need" specs like that, but apparently that's what he likes.

    Your Point Is?

JSC is six weeks older than me. I still play a 350gram stick and don't have the TE problems many older players suffer through with their Aircast straps and multifilaments strung at 40# to counterbalance the vibrations from ultrastiff ultralight frames. I'm sure he's playing whatever Prince puts in his hands and may prefer that while rehabbing from hip replacement surgery. I'd also bet if it is a Silver, it's got a ton of customizing going on under the grip to bring it back to a balance point he is accustomed to.

The dude played with battle-axes in the past. The Silver is on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. My old man is almost his age and still plays with 100 sq in heads weighing over 11 ounces. 58 isn't that old.

Funny... there's also a picture of him wearing the same outfit hitting his trusty Prince Mono. I don't think he's switching to a Silver for matches.

I believe these pictures were taken on his trip to Cuba. Who knows why he's hitting a Silver.

58? Not old at old. We have a 60 year old guy on our mixed team who had shoulder surgery, and is using a 6.1 95, 12.5 ounces. I think Connors could take him. Did I mention our guy smokes a pack or two a day? 6.1 95, 12.5 ounces.

Jimbo was still hitting with his Prince Mono at IW a couple weeks ago - so maybe he was just playing around or hitting with someone else's stick or trying out frames etc. Till we find out the story around the pic - he's still using the Mono as far as I know.

I just went back to his FB page to see if I could find additional info as a follow up to some of your comments. This is the link to his FB page if anyone is interested:

    http://www.facebook.com/album.php?fbid=10150114508845308&id=22840895307&aid=278680

As Carolina Racquet said, the pictures of him hitting the Silver is from a recent trip to Cuba...and the photo series includes pictures of him hitting the Mono as well. There's a picture dated march 28 of him hitting with the Mono and the ones with the Silver is from 5th of april. Then there's a group photo of him and some kids also from april 5, where he's holding his Mono, so maybe the Silver was just a test after all.
