Richard P. has the best set up! of all the machines posted!

Richard has the best machine listed so far! Classic machine with magnetic clamps and customer memory card reader and direct com link to RDC. WOW.

I'm slugging it out with a Sensor and Star 4. I'll get a Sensor Expert when the warantee runs out on my Sensor.

    Regards to all,

Man all those babolat stars and sensor makes me so jealous, :x :x :x

for tournament stringing what do y'all think is the best machine and best value. I've strung on the sensors and from the numourous times that hey've broken down i wouldnt trust my life with one. Star 3 and 4 on the otherhand i like very much.

personally i think the new Alpha Orbitor looks to be the best value for a professional stringing machine, especially after they put the new style mounting system on it, a clone of the babolat mounting systems.

Gamma 6004, it's a great machine. Solid as hell, built like a tank, and very quick for my purposes. As well as having suspension 6 point mounting.

I have an Alpha Apex with a Wise Tension Head, which I use most. I also have an Ektelon H, a Winn standup that I'm refurbishing to sell, a Serrano 550B and a Court & Slope drop weight (my very first machine)

Wow! Gaines, I was pretty impressed by your stringing machine collection until I saw the disclaimer - still very impressive though.

I'm using a Silent Partner Swing, I really enjoy stringing and learning more about it on this board. As long as my racquet volume doesn't increase I'd be happy to stay with this baby for the rest of my life. It's a joy using a drop weight machine.

Serano No-Awl (its my father-in-laws) and still does a nice job on the 90-93sqin head racs

I use a Prince Neos for the large head/long body racquets

Wally, which Serrano is that? Is it a standup (550?) or a portable (they had one I think). Just curious.

Klippermate. Adequate for my home string jobs. Paid for itself in the first year back in the days I hit hard(er) and broke strings constantly.

you either string a hell of a lot of racquets to pay for these, are very rich, and/or know how to get a good deal on prices.

Sage, that is a compiled list of the machines owned by people, the asterisk next to the Wise 2086 and the Alpha Apex would signify that Gaines uses an Alpha Apex with the Wise tension head. Those aren't all his machines is what I'm getting at here.

Seems as though there are a disproportionate number of LFs out there. I wonder how representative this poll is of the general stringing population.
