Could anyone give me either local time, GMT or CET? Please not something like PST or EST cause I dont know what that is (europe based)

On the website it only says play starts at 11 on sunday, but there's also the women's final that day and my guess is the men's final won't start at 11 in the morning!

7 pm? Where does it say that? Would be terrible cos it's 3 AM here. Was hoping for 3 or 4 pm local time

7pm my local time would mean 11 am over there. That seems highly unlikely to me. Are you sure?

pretty much worst possible time, right? Too late to stay up, to early to get up.

I could handle 4 am, just go to sleep really early.. but 1 or 2 is the worst. lol.

No, ABC as in the network with a local affiliate in your area. Check local listings.

Disney/ABC owns ESPN. They'll move the broadcast from cable ESPN2 to network ABC.

Still don't get it. LOTS of different times called around here. Could anyone just please give the LOCAL time then?

Or shouldnt it be a rule that with something as international as tennis ALL times are given in GMT and local? It's annoying. I have no clue what EST is and where it's located. But I can compute anything, so if someone would say "4 PM new york time" than that's fine, or 4PM indian wells time, fine too.

I would really like to know an infinite answer, thanks in advance!

Here is a way to figure it out, because every tennis fan really does need to know how to do this.

http://www.bnpparibasopen.com If you look on that page towards the top, you will clearly see the local time displayed and the time zone it belongs to. Some tournaments are nice enough to display the local time, IW is one of them. What time is it where you are right now? There's your time difference.

Second, www.timeanddate.com. Indian Wells doesn't show up on the search because it's a small city, so use Palm Springs or Los Angeles. Then plug in your nearest big city and it will tell you the time difference. You can do that on this page: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html or any of the other useful pages on that website.

If you want, you can go to http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/personal.html and create a clock with all the cities of the major tennis tournaments in it and your home city, and it will create a bookmark for you to refer back to whenever you want.

Here, a "quick and dirty" tennis fan's world clock: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclo...60,136,195,215,259,8,776,33,237,248,47,152,22
