What tournament should the Big 3 retire in ?

Been thinking about this of late. What tournament should the Big 3 retire in ?

My view :
Federer - Halle. His pet tournament.
Nadal - Madrid/Barcelona, for obvious reasons.
Djokovic - ATP Cup. Surrounded by his countrymen, fans, in a tournament he obviously loves playing in.

Fed: Wimbledon, Olympics (if it's this year) or Basel

Nadal: Olympics 2024, or probably just RG

Djokovic: AO. If he makes a full year the next AO is 2 months away, if he does AO, the next Slam is 4 months away. ATP Cup is a nice tournament, but Djoko shouldn't retire a week before his favorite Slam.

Djokovic is gonna retire in Belgrade. Federer will do it in Wimbledon. Nadal is done for, so any minute atm

I am of the opinion that they shouldn't retire in big tournaments. It's about "Bringing all back home", in the end.

I picked ATP Cup for Nole, because the Serbian Open is not, quite, big enough (televised etc). Also because he will have a lot of team mates there, and huge Serb support, in a country that has been good to him. One last onslaught from the Balkans, per se.

None of those tournaments make much sense, because they all are directly before the pet Slam of the concerning player. If they play that tournament, why would they deliberately miss out on the following Slam?

Because they don't need to play a Slam ! They are symbolic !
