Netflix is fantastic, there's also a way to get the Netflix shown in different regions, which should suit your "dirty pirate" side ;)

Whatever you want to watch is likely available in some Country. Last night i'd decided to watch Inception, it's not available in the UK so with a few clicks I found myself on Netflix Luxembourg and got my fix :)

To Catch a Thief (1955) - Cary Grant, Grace Kelly.

Saw half of it. Beautiful scenery, imagine living there in those large houses in the hills overlooking the sea.

While jewels were being stolen, and romance was in the air, I was thinking how nice it would be to go for long runs on those winding mountain roads.

r2473 would have loved the Quiche Lorraine (which contains bacon, it seems).

Even though real men don't eat Quiche. ;)

The Grand Budapest Hotel. I found it great. Ralph Fiennes had a lot to do with it!

    Not sure I'm following Senti...

A few over the last few days.

The Maze Runner - I found it more enjoyable than I thought I would.
Annabelle - Finally got around to watching this, after I heard it was terrible. Was expecting much more.
Whiplash - This movie was amazing. One of the best I have seen in a long time. Wished it didn't end like it did though.
This Is Where I Leave You - An average comedy movie. Had some laughs...

What are you talking about? They did a pretty good job for what they had to work with. All the action in the book comes at the end.

I went to see 'Cake' the other night. Thought it was a pretty good film, especially Jennifer Aniston's performance.

Ralph was Amon Goeth in Schindler's List, which I credit as his finest performance.

Ralph played the German SS officer in Schindler's List. Given his cruelty in the film, I hated "him" (the character he played). That's what i meant. However, in TGBH he was quite endearing.

^^ Nice catch, carsomyr. :) Ralph followed it up with a stellar performance at the AO 2014 final :D

Saw it again. One of the great movies - and it's got Tom Jones in it.

Dexter the final season inc finale. Fell rather flat & gutted IMO. Shame.

Breaking Bad final season. This show finished off better IMO. Top work by the creator.

    Time for some fun movies:
    The Party
    Pink Panther
    King Of Comedy
    This Is Spinal Tap
    Caddyshack

Cloud Atlas. I'd been meaning to see it for ages. It's a really good film imo and very trippy. Along a similar parallel story narrative
I preferred Hugh Jackman/Rachel Weisz in The Fountain. It has a lot of similarities to Cloud Atlas. If you haven't seen The Fountain I highly recommend it.

    I liked episode IV :)
    V was incredible.
III was very emotional and dark. Probably my favourite, so far.

    Cloud Atlas or The Fountain?

It actually doesn't matter imo - The Fountain works whether you presume they are or aren't actually linked.

Star Wars IV A New Hope (1977) a snooze fest? What strings you smokin'? One of the GOAT. Please don't tell me you prefer Avatar or Matrix? Opinions on 2001: A Space Odyssey?

The trailer might have been better than the actual movie. I'm undecided.

    The Avengers (2012)
Great as always, but even better watching it with company.

Don't like any of them. And yes, I stand by my opinion. It's boring and the acting is terrible'

How to Train Your Dragon 2; I was blown away with the first one and this second installment did it again. This sequel expands off the first one so majestically and it's filled with candid splendor and touches on other themes too. I like animated movies just as much as live-action, and this has to be one of my favorites.

Oh God....I hate watching horror and some dark drama or thriller movie at the movies. Non stop chatting and laughing to ease the tension people are feeling. FFS it is annoying...
