Ty, Scariest since Scary Movie 5.
Midnight Run (1988) - Decent picture,better than I remembered...
The Suicide Theory. It gets your attention right away, which is always good. I enjoyed it.
Obviously X-Men: Apocalypse.
Get to the cinema you old-timers!
IMHO prefer it to CapAmerica
Strangers on a train (1951) - second viewing. Hitchcock.
Didn't watch it at the cinema as I was expecting it to be rubbish, saw it on dvd last night though and was pleasantly surprised!
Pretty funny, the action between being tiny and human sized was something different and the scene where they're fighting in the briefcase with disintegration by The Cure in the background was brilliant.
Was fun to see something like that from Marvel (after the whole civil war thing and the other movies taking a bit more of a darker tone).
The Do-over, a Sandler/Spade buddy movie. Nearly as good as Midnight Run. Or even Midnight Express
The Big Splash
Has anyone watched Money Monster?
That's funny,I just loaded up a stream of it right before I saw this post,I'll see what I think of it...
Same here, Jim Cramer oughta sue. And discover the Hairclub for Men
Saw it a couple nights ago, I thought it was awful, strange how such talented performers and director can put this type of film out. Maybe it was supposed to be a campy, comedy.
Yeah,I thought it was a bit predictable,cliched,I'd give it a 5/10 I guess...'
This has peaked my interest...
Thank goodness it was short. Unlike the Superhero flicks
George Clooney, say no more. When has he ever been in anything decent?
Watched Risen and Zoolander 2 this weekend. Risen I liked and thought it was an interesting perspective on the Resurrection. Zoolander 2 was just bad, felt like they were trying too hard to be funny.
Like I said what was the last decent movie he was in? Clooney consistently bombs at the box office.
I saw minority report, felt like the last person on the planet to see it, was good.
High Standards, eh?
I don't really like sports movies, especially not American football from the 20s era. There are a few laughs in it but it's forgettable.
Kidding, he was in The Perfect Storm, good flick
I saw it along time ago and can't remember much about it which isn't a good sign.
Gravity was a good cinematic experience despite it having my least favourite actor/actress in it and not because of it. Oh brother is my "favourite" Clooney movie.
Never saw Gravity. Is it like Up In The Air?
I haven't seen up in the air lol.
But I can safely say it's nothing like it.
Anything like Oh Brother Where Art Thou? Whole Crossroads thing?
The Unsinkable Molly Brown (1964) - Debbie Reynolds. Musical. Fictionalized story about the life of Molly Brown who was on the Titanic.
The Cat and the Canary (1939) - Bob Hope and Paulette Goddard.
Interesting comedy-horror movie.
I would get banned if I said the full name here.
Clue? Or link? Curious.
The star of the movie is named Kayden Kross
Had to google. Oh......
"The Future Is Unwritten"
The Mole People (60's?) This would be pretty good as a remake.
Madame Courage (2015)
An Algerian movie set in the slums of Algiers. Enjoyed the the realism.
Not related, but I thought I would share this beautiful song from Algeria.
Andy Samberg's send-up of the music scene. Some jokes land with a thud but some are hilarious, as are the lyrics to many of the songs.
The Korean film The Wailing
No silly jump scares like Hollywood. 2.5 hrs but rarely seems like its too long. Just a roller coaster ride. Damm that little girl!
Girl in the woods. look really scary. and got very high rating from the critics. wonder if it is as scary as girl in the cornfields
wow, now I want to go see it. Probably will with my date Thursday lol
Where the red fern grows (1974) - seeing for the second time. Nice movie about a boy who rears Coon hunting dogs.
X-Men Apocalypse. Okay movie, not better than First Class or Days of Future Past. Didn't like any of the young X-Men actors except Sophie Turner and that too because she's on Game of Thrones and even she was just ok(felt weird seeing her talk in an American accent). Storm and Cyclops were horrible.. Fassbender and McAvoy were great as usual and Oscar Isaac was alright. Quicksilver scenes were the best. Plot was ok, some things were a bit confusing regarding the timeline though..
Quicksilver provided much-needed levity...sweet dreams are made of this!
Sonar Kella (1974) (The Golden Fort) - Bengali movie directed by Satyajit Ray about a boy who recollects a past life. He is then taken to the place he recollects, but people try to kidnap him etc etc. V interesting. Saw it long back as a kid on TV
That was a great movie.
The Beauty Inside! It was a cool korean movie about a guy that changes into a different person every time he wakes up.
Brexit: The Movie.
Iron Man 1, greatness
Separate names with a comma.
