Hachi: A Dog's Tale
I cried like a baby. must see if you are a dog person.
The Dark Knight-beyong boring and bad.
Saw Karate Kid on telly last night while waiting for the Cinci semifinal. Loved Jaden Smith - cool guy
Loved it, but wait, only seen the last 30 minutes.
Downloading Ice Age 4 continental Drift..Will see it tonight..
Awesome movie I agree
I dont cry when I lose somebody close but this movie made me cry like a little girl
Great movie, though the Shakespearean dialogue made it a bit confusing.
Madagascar - okay for the kids, but not as funny as I had hoped.
The Raid: Redemption: Awesome martial arts action, not much plot - good stuff
Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame - martial arts action with a decent plot - loved it
Expendables 2. If you like thinks blowing up and full on action this one fits the bill...just like the last one lol. The acting buy some of the new characters were a little lame. Some funny parts to the movie as well. Chuck Norris actually used one of the many Chuck Norris jokes floating out on the interwebs lol.
Chronicles of Narnia 3 : seen waiting for the Cinci final
Liked that complainey kid, Eustace
recently just saw Platoon last nigiht
The Cabin in the Woods
Very entertaining =)
Great little movie. Joseph Gordon Levitt and Natalie Portman are in it. Highly recommended.
saw two documentaries this week about the war in iraq/afghanistan:
"Restrepo" and "Hell and Back Again"
highly recommended if you're interested in those types of things. I know a lot of good war movies if you guys need any insight.
Also here are a couple of underrated movies most of you may have not heard of:
Blue Streak (with Dave Chapelle and Martin Lawrence- hilarious)
The Recruit (with Al Pacino and Collin Farrell- thriller)
Machete ... loads of fun... you cant go wrong with the crazy Robert Rodriguez
Jessica Alba asks "Where the F have you been, you could've at least texted me" ..
Danny Trejo replies "Machete don't text." lol
That cracked me up too...... and the woman that didn't need a purse for her cellphone
Feel ashamed saying this but saw The Spy Next Door (Jackie Chan) and Baby's Day Out, over dinner last 2 nights. What can I do, that's all my telly is showing, ...
... and I do love kid's movies.
2/10. Horrible, if you are a Jason Statham fan, better to watch Crank again rather than this crap...
Going to watch 2016, will give update later tonight.
The dark Knight rises...
did you like the previous ones?
10 Questions for the Dalai Lama (Documentary)
Quite interesting, end was gripping, about a runaway train in PA.
What were the 10 questions?
Yeah, it was worse than Horrible it was very horrible. Wanted to fall asleep, I want my money back from that crap.
The one with the Joker was a classic, Loved it, the Bane character and his idiot voice was one big mess.
I loved the first one, the second was disappointing. Bane was cool but I couldn't understand him and I didn't like the way he died.
Real Steel - quite interesting, robots boxing...
Eragon - meh, if you like the Narnia kind of kid's flicks
Another Earth - decent film - ending was kind of Meh...
well.. dont remember them.. but the main answer is.. "dont F with china, or else you get to be a refugee if ur lucky"
Suprisingly good movie! i loved it
We Bought a Zoo
Entertaining, but predictable. The fact that it was based on a true story makes it interesting. Scarlet Johanssen (sp?) is always worth watching. It won't win any Oscars.
Last movie I watched was The Bourne Legacy. It was OK, but it took too long to really get going. I must admit though, I'm pretty amped to see The Expendables 2, and Premium Rush might get me to the theaters too.
premium rush- It was a 7 out of 10. And how does Jamie Chung look like a high school senior at 29 is beyond me.
Just saw Day After Tomorrow during dinner. So -so.
Channeled 21 Jump Street, eh?
The Avengers. Great, great movie.
And agent Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) is incredibly hot.. I'm in love.
Marley, nuff said
Sparkle, the re-make, kind of a drag. Characters are not fleshed-out.
6 Bullets (Van Damme)
best part of the movie is the last dialog by Van Damme
The Lives of Others. I thought it was really good. If you're into history or the cold war, you'll probably like it.
that seems very interesting.. added to my 'to see' list.. thnx
Wedding Crashers. Liked it! Totally hilarious. And Rachel McAdams looks stunning in this.
Hey this was a fine movie, German if i recall, won an Academy Award. Very worth it.
I saw 'I, Robot' last night during dinner while waiting for the women's semi. I've lost count of how many times Will Smith has saved the world/humanity. He really should be The Greatest Human of All Time, knighted, canonized, sainted, deified etc, lol.
'Man on a Ledge" - I liked it..
Not the last one I watched, but For All Mankind is a fine documentary commemorating the Apollo missions of the 1960s and the '70s. And it's now available for free on Hulu (at least in the US, not sure about other countries):
Even as someone too young to have experienced it live I got chills watching some of the otherworldly footage. And yes, it features the famous words of the late Neil Armstrong in all their glory. And a fittingly ambient soundtrack by Brian Eno.
"Robot and Frank" with Frank Langella (and the voice of Peter Sarsgaard for the robot). Light and fluffy, not very entertaining.
Saw that yesterday......... it was really good. Loved the pace, nothing extranneous.
The Dark Knight Rises
Separate names with a comma.
