Turtle: The Incredible Journey
Most overrated movie ever, when it came out. Couple one liners but as a whole, so boring.
delete. delete delete.
Why is Captain America, Winter Soldier getting Such Awsome reviews ? It is like 90 % or above on rotten tomatoes. that is like their highest rating......
what makes this kid's movie so good ?
Green Mile you have dropped a ton of gems. A ton. I have seen quite a few of them, but that is one of the best lists I have seen.
And yeah - Irreversible is intense. Saw it 8 years ago and it really rattled me.
Yeah, i usually record a wierd movie down, so if i wanna i can come back to it later, or share with others
Thanks, will do
Does the Human Centipede take the cake for weirdness or is there a further extreme? I haven't seen that many off that list but my favourite there might be Blue Velvet...
Depends on what type of disturbing affects you the most like gore, psychological ETC.
The sequel to Human centipede is much more darker than the first. Personally I didn't think the film was that weird, it was just the idea of it, that many people think this is right up there.
You should watch Martyrs, my fav movie from this type of genre.
I just finished watching Thor the dark World
This Hunger Games rip-off tries to say something about inter-class struggle but the message is chaotic and the acting second-rate.
A lot of the message is lost in the difference between the book and the movie. The book was quite good, the movie was like a childrens film. Too bad.
Martyrs is incredible.
Following . Nolan's first film, made for just $6000. It is really, really good. Shows alot money isn't a necessity to make a good film
Going old school, a nightmare on elm street 2
The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Another piece of Wes Anderson magic. It is right up there alongside Moonrise Kingdom and The Life Aquatic.
Yeah, i recall that movie. saw it last year. v interesting.
The Grand Budapest Hotel is actually on my list of movies to watch, somehow it's overridden by watching tv series.:-|
Captain America "winter soldier" Great movie. Huge improvement over part 1
Let's upload somebody's mind to a supercomputer ready to become self-aware. These things never end well, do they? Engrossing and food for thought.
Must see it.
No way this is happening in a long time. The brain would have to be "uploaded" and that's the most complex thing we know. I am not sure it's feasible to get an exact copy of the brain.
1, 3 and 4 are the best
Lovelace. Cutting the actress into the original Phil Donahue footage was flawless.
Captain Phillips. Amazing production and superb performances by Somalis that never acted before.
Frozen Ground. You never know who your neighbor really is.
All 3 based on true stories, well done.
A docu on Scientology but I skipped the boring bits.
Busy Easter weekend:
Man of Steel
World War Z
IS Noah any good ?
Just watched The Departed today for the 8th time haha, love it as always.
The Amazing Spiderman 2 was a class film though
Shawshank Redemption came on last night.
I can never turn that off when I catch it from the beginning. classic.
Crouching Tiger. The sword fights are majestic. Electrifying in more ways than one.
I watched Transcendence yesterday. It is about a guy whose brain is uploaded into the Internet before he dies.
I suggest we start with suresh's.
Interesting, well paced, well acted and very well written. And damn, those feels.
Shouldn't we start at IBM and Wipro's in Armonk?
in movie departed,,, In the end there is a Rat after that guy is shot dead. and movie ends with Rat krawling on the wall. What does that mean ??
The Time Traveler's Wife. The only thing that saves this mess of a movie is how hot Rachel McAdams is...
.. That the guy was a rat.
I'm not sure if English is second language, but rat is understood to be a cheat or go behind someone's back. If you 'rat' on someone, you're selling them out. Damon's character was a rat in that he was playing both sides and giving information.
Double agent sounds better as opposed to RAT.:-|
Collateral(2004). Fantastic film,Michael Mann has never let me down. I'm not a big action movie fan,but this is one of the best I've seen in the genre....
captain america 2. WAY better than 1. go see it
yea but Daemon was a Good guy. he was working for the Good. so Good people or agent Can't be a Rat. Rat is always a bad person.
I guess he wasn't as 'good' as you thought. I always meant to see the original 'Internal Affairs' from 2002. It's supposed to be very good as well...
47 Ronin. Keanu Reeves is the man.
Downloading it now
He was working for the police so he could provide Jack Nicholson with a means to avoid detection from the cops.
Meanwhile Nicholson worked with the FBI and turned in who he pleasesd.
Not much of a spoiler but yeah, slight plot point. Mark Wahlberg was so good in this film
ok so I wonder about this movie. because 9 out of 10 Critics gave this movie 1 star out of 4 which is bad. what is going on there ?
Watched "Walk the Line" the Johnny Cash story last night, pretty good. You can watch it here: http://www.tubeplus.me/player/626771/Walk_the_Line/
Finished watching Melancholia again, directed by Lars Von Trier. In my top five movies... man every time I watch it, it stays in my head for days and days.
The acting wasn't really good,(it is Keanu Reeves) and some things just made no sense, but it was entertaining nonetheless. Kind of like Transformers, how it made a LOT of money and was entertaining, but it got such bad reviews.
The Amazing Spider man 2. Wasn't anything special, one of the lesser Super Hero movies.
Sick boy... A low budget horror film. The story was all right, but the acting from the lead actress was terrible...
