Most overrated movie ever, when it came out. Couple one liners but as a whole, so boring.

Green Mile you have dropped a ton of gems. A ton. I have seen quite a few of them, but that is one of the best lists I have seen.

And yeah - Irreversible is intense. Saw it 8 years ago and it really rattled me.

Does the Human Centipede take the cake for weirdness or is there a further extreme? I haven't seen that many off that list but my favourite there might be Blue Velvet...

Depends on what type of disturbing affects you the most like gore, psychological ETC.

The sequel to Human centipede is much more darker than the first. Personally I didn't think the film was that weird, it was just the idea of it, that many people think this is right up there.

You should watch Martyrs, my fav movie from this type of genre.

    Divergent

This Hunger Games rip-off tries to say something about inter-class struggle but the message is chaotic and the acting second-rate.

A lot of the message is lost in the difference between the book and the movie. The book was quite good, the movie was like a childrens film. Too bad.

Following [1998]. Nolan's first film, made for just $6000. It is really, really good. Shows alot money isn't a necessity to make a good film

    The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Another piece of Wes Anderson magic. It is right up there alongside Moonrise Kingdom and The Life Aquatic.

Let's upload somebody's mind to a supercomputer ready to become self-aware. These things never end well, do they? Engrossing and food for thought.

    Must see it.

No way this is happening in a long time. The brain would have to be "uploaded" and that's the most complex thing we know. I am not sure it's feasible to get an exact copy of the brain.

Lovelace. Cutting the actress into the original Phil Donahue footage was flawless.

Captain Phillips. Amazing production and superb performances by Somalis that never acted before.

Frozen Ground. You never know who your neighbor really is.

All 3 based on true stories, well done.

.. That the guy was a rat.

I'm not sure if English is second language, but rat is understood to be a cheat or go behind someone's back. If you 'rat' on someone, you're selling them out. Damon's character was a rat in that he was playing both sides and giving information.

He was working for the police so he could provide Jack Nicholson with a means to avoid detection from the cops.

Meanwhile Nicholson worked with the FBI and turned in who he pleasesd.

Not much of a spoiler but yeah, slight plot point. Mark Wahlberg was so good in this film :p

The acting wasn't really good,(it is Keanu Reeves) and some things just made no sense, but it was entertaining nonetheless. Kind of like Transformers, how it made a LOT of money and was entertaining, but it got such bad reviews.

Sick boy... A low budget horror film. The story was all right, but the acting from the lead actress was terrible...
