    Sweet.

    I'm looking forward to this.

I went to see Hercules this week. It was the typical story. Hero gets betrayed, hero strikes back and saves the world with his amazing strength, team work and charisma. Yeah, The Rock is the man. Pretty average overall, but I mainly went to see Rock.

    A Most Wanted Man

Fine valedictory performance by Philip Seymour Hoffman in an otherwise dark and dreary post-9/11 cautionary tale.

    Total Recall, the recent version.

Was not good but kinda worth it for Kate Beckinsale, she takes her action seriously and is uranium hot. Making the Lori character the antagonist was a great idea, wish they had done that with the original.
Oh yeah, saw this too. Not sure I enjoyed it either but there's definitely a foreboding macabre vibe which is very haunting.

"That is some coincidence. But they don't really believe in coincidences. They've heard of them. They've just never seen one."

    Both versions of Oldboy.

Korean version (original) with subtitles kicks the crap out of Spike's.

Snowpiercer - action movie, violence, not much else. Nice view out of the windows of the train, but i suspect it was all CGI.

    Chris Evans, Ed Harris.

    Not recommended.

Thought I'd watch it the moment it came out, and I did but was distracted at the 10-minute mark...

How is it anyway in its totality? An 8 out of 10?

Dumb and Dumber To, (free early screening). I thought they did a good job with it, lots of laughs from the (full) audience. If you like the original Dumb & Dumber you'll most likely enjoy the 2nd. :)

    Aw lawked it awlawt.

Interesting, very graphic at times, star cast (Fassbender, Diaz, Cruz, Pitt).

    (Loved the kittens).

Earlier post gives a negative review.

I am not good at critiquing or rating movies, all i can say is I enjoyed The Grand Budapest Hotel.

I thought it was awesome. The apes were like "ughh...haaah, haaah!"

You sure are a harsh critic though... I have seen your judgment on many movies in this thread. Very tough to impress.

Watch 3 successive nights: Sabotage, Edge of Tomorrow and Transcendence. Sabotage is indeed sabotage (why did I bother with Arnie?)! Edge of Tomorrow (anyone could've played the starring role BUT only Tom Cruise can pull it off...an ok movie). Transcendence is the one I liked best among the 3!;)

Reminds me of this guilty pleasure, inspired by the film https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ru2tsT32pHA&hd=1

Last I watched,Boyhood(2014). Quite good, but a little disappointing given how much I had looked forward to it and how epic I thought it would be,doesn't quite justify the 3 hour runtime IMO...

Hmm, interesting. I found 1 a lot better than 2. I was really disappointed because 2 seemed like it would be better than the first. Hard for me to get excited about the 3rd but might watch.

^^ this film failed for me because it seemed like the cast couldn't keep straight faces while doing a serious story. Clooney likes to work with his pals and probably ran too loose a ship as director.

Went and saw Guardians of the Galaxy last night and was not disappointed. Batista was good as Drax, and Groot was so loveable.
