I read the following in RSI and for some reason I became very interested:

Tennis Australia does intend to have a signature court color for the Australian Open, which has yet to be decided.

I love the blue courts at the US Open (both for watching tennis and playing).

What color do you think it will be? What color do you want it to be?

It won't be green, it won't be dark blue, it won't be dark orange.

I liked the purple at the Miami masters event, it was easy on the eyes.

Most definitely Purple, then maybe then finally we can see the ball at the aussie open. the green color really stunk, totally invisible balls. Purple with clay color in the outside.+

can't do purple - it's already been used for the Masters events. Although, they're getting rid of those. Hmmm... who knows. I vote black. It'd be hot as hell though.

How 'bout white court with green lines? An inverse of the usual courts.

It's gonna be hard to focus on the ball when the sun reflects off the white surface.

I quite like the green. It's a reminder of the days when it was held on grass which I think is a good thing.

Maybe the color will be pink. I hope it isn't, but that's always a possibility.

    lol that would be interesting!

I hope it isn't the same colour as the US Open. I feel that each tournament should have their own special feel to it and if both the hardcourt majors have the same colour then it wouldn't be that way.

    how about darker green? =S

    or maybe uhh

    YELLOW! XD

    I think dark green would be kewl. iono how hot it would be, but for me, I would be able to see the ball, and that would kinda remind me of grass. =}

ooh ooh how about PINK?! =O

I have played on black courts. Luckily it was overcast...ruins the balls too.

    I'd vote for a dark red/purple.
