What year is this shock absorber from?

    I think it was in around '95... it was red... there were black ones too. The ones you are showing are the flat ones... I have some around the same time that are a little more rounded and multi-colored.

    Not sure if it is red or pink. It could be a breast cancer awareness dampener and not that old at all.

    The first W dampener that looked like that on a frame I purchased was the Wilson Profile (the first "Widebody") in about 1987.

    It looks sorta pink in picture but is dark red.
