Just curious as to what a player gets when given a tennis or athletic scholarship.

    Tuition?....100% or partial
    Room and Board?
    Books?
    Miscellaneous items?

How does it vary from the various D1-D3 schools?

    Thanks.

D3 = no scholarships for athletics, it will be academic

D1-D2 vary, for most ladies it will be Full rides that cover Room & Board and Books

For men it will be partials and will depend on the school and the player. D1 Men can only have 4.5 scholarships so the coaches must figure out how to split that 8-10 ways.

NAIA and Junior Colleges have different rules altogether.

NAIA get to give 5 full tennis scholarships Men and Women, I think. As Jason said, coaches usually divide these up among 8-11 players.

NJCAA - Not sure. I've heard they have a lot of scholarship flexibility for tennis though. Maybe someone here will know.
