What's In Your Tennis Bag?

Discussion in 'Odds & Ends' started by Baseline Basher, Mar 10, 2005.

  1. I'm 15. I'm broke. Here's my backpack:

    Wilson Tour Backpack, filled with:
2 Wilson ProStaff Tour 95, Prince Microgrip (white), I'm not sure what kind of strings (my friend strung it with some random thing. It's good though) 55 lbs. right now.
    Wristbands
    Bandana
    Mp3 player.
Pocketknife. (To cut items, such as grips, strings, or other annoying obstacles, such as cheaters...but mostly the former.)
    Water bottle. (Empty or otherwise.)
Can of balls. (If I have one.)

    What are you packing?

    - 3 rackets
    - 2 new cans of balls
    - 2 tennis towels
    - 1 wrist sweat band (3 - if traveling to a "Flat Land" tourney, where they actually *have* humidity)
    - 2 1-liter canteens of water
    - keys, cell phone, wallet, change, pocket knife (for cutting ALL strings when I break a string. My Stringer asks me to do this to protect the life of my frames. Makes sense.)
    - mesh bag of 10-12 used balls
    - two rubber bands
    - athletic tape, band-aids, sunscreen, lip balm
    - 2 bananas (usually)
    - 3 (original style) Power Bars (only brand I've found that won't turn to GOO in our high altitude/intense sun)
    - 2 packets of "E-mergen-C" (a drink mix which Gatorade "wishes" it could be)
    - warm ups (top & bottom)
    - Sport sandals (For in-between matches. "Ahhh!")
    - 1 complete change of tennis clothes (plus)
    - 1 pair sox
    - 1 tennis shirt
    - sunglasses
    - extra ball cap
