I have a buddy who strings for me sometimes. The headguard on one of my Pure Drive Roddicks is cracked and in bad shape, and I asked him to replace it the next time he strings my racquet. He flat out refused, saying that it's a HUGE pain. He has access to PDR grommets/headguards since he teaches for the park district, which stocks a lot of accessories at the main tennis center. He even told me "we have it, but I don't want to do it." I laughed when he refused. Since the guy who runs the park district is now back from his usual winter vacation, I can just have him do it. But really, is it that big of a pain?
