    Hey.
What's the fastest you've broken strings. I've broken one in two minutes hitting a shank serve but that's not what I'm looking for. Clean breaks. What was your fastest and what string?
Mine is 25 minutes with Prince Lighting 17 Gauge. Horrid String.

15 minutes with PSG, then I was wondering why board members recommended it.

    My fastest is 4 hrs.

I've Done it with HurricaneTour/Attraction Hybrid and with full Kirshbaum Pro Line II. (4 is pretty much the average time for me). I havent hit with any syn guts in like 4 years, so i dont know how long those would last. doubt it would be very long....

2 hours with wilson sensation. When I used to string with sensation I had to restring two racquets every week when I was only playing an average of 4 and a half hours per week because of a lack of time to hit.

Well, 2 serves with Babolat VS Team 17.

I suspect that may have been a faulty batch, as that stuff usually lasted about 45 minutes, which is still pretty short.

Syngut 16g 5 minutes jr tournament warmup. Only time i've returned to a store and demanded a free restring. I'm certain the stringjob was rushed and strings burned in.

    Sarcasm?
Not really that cool. Wish my strings lasted longer. Restringing rackets everyday sucks.

I'll give you my two quickest.

Got both my racquets strung with Wilson Sensation, 16g, just to try it out. (I had Hammer 6.2 skunks at that time. This was also before polyester became a big hit and saved us chronic string breakers.)

Made it to the tennis courts and warmed up with a few volleys, some small-court tennis.

Moved backwards and on the third forehand, snapped the strings. Busted in about 20 minutes.

Went back to the bag and grabbed the second skunk with the same string job.

Hit a few groundies, everything seemed to be going fine until I ripped a forehand, and POP

    All of two minutes.

I'm not sure if it was a bad batch of strings or not, but that was my worst experience with strings EVER. I am NEVER considering or recommending Wilson Sensation to ANYONE.

Wilson Sensation(factory string, first racquet, back when I started tennis) 170 hours. I got TE because it went dead long before it broke, and it was probably at like 30lbs by the time it did:lol:. I left it in the car several times. After I've gotten my stringing machine, I restring once every 1-2 weeks, regardless of breakage or not, to keep a constant tension, so no more breakage.

I was with my friend and we went to go pick up his KBlade strung with sensation 16. After 10 minutes of hitting with him he decided to start getting serious the first hard shot he hit they broke he was pissed.

Five hours: Babolat Xcel Power. I was surprised that it did not fray, just notched before breaking in the sweetspot without warning.

Once I bought a Volkl Tour 10 Gen II and it was strung with Ashaway Monogut 17 and at first outing I served once and it was an ace, served the second time and pop goes the strings. Total time less than 2min :)
