Most R series were better than anything today. Yonex changed to widebodies and never looked back. The few recent thinner beamed racquets have been stiff lead pipes with no feel & 330+ sw...not headlight enough. Bring back R22 and R-10 with nice cosmetics and they will sell better than anything in their lineup. Yonex also changed their grip shape. Why? Who knows.

Whoa. A stevewcosta sighting. I haven't seen you complain about yonex in a while. And while I don't personally feel like the grip shape has changed from the r-series, the rackets sure have. The r-22 I had was awesome. The super RD tour as well. Couldn't hurt to bring one of those babies back!

Hey Sarge. Yeah, I've been off the board for about a year. Recovering from knee surgery and itching to play again due to the Open! I just loved the old Yonex 18.5 mm box beams. Great racquets. I want Yonex to succeed but they won't get another dime from me anytime soon. Bring back the classics! Hope all is well.
