when they they reduce the stiffness of the racquet, they generally reduce the "pop"

I love the pure drive, it would have been my favourite racket, but after playing for several hours, it's stiffnes causes me to loose control and my game becomes fatigued.

gotta be the new pure storm tour!!!! I hit with this frame last week and this is quite a remarkable frame!! I can only imagine how well it would play weighted to 12.6 oz. in the head & strung with prn.syn.gut at 65 lbs. this really worth a look if your in the market for a player's frame. it plays like or I should say has the feel of a racket from earlier days eg. no "buzz" in the handle no vibration what so ever! I was truly impressed!!!!! has nice flex and really reminds me of the early prestige pro, but better an open strng pattern for access for spin.

where do you live. TW is supposed to get there shipment in tomorrow according to the site. And the place i ordered from might have some in stock but youd have to email them to check. If you wnat i can private mesage you the site that i got mine from. I wouldnt recomend you get it strung by them though cause my string job they did sucked and they practically ruined the xcel premium string by clamping it to hard.. You can see how bad it was just by looking at the pic i posted.

I've gotta do a top two list here. For me, both are head and shoulders above any other Babolat frame.

1] The Aero Storm. Basically, a muted, aerodynamic version of a Pure Control, I think. I seriously felt my game actually improve while demo-ing it.

2] The Pure Storm Tour. Or a nice, broken-in original Pure Control (burgundy). So solid and powerful.

OP, you ought to go to the Babolat Alliance thread and hook those cats up with a link over here. They'll all chime in, I'm sure.

What's my favorite Babolat frame? I would say none. They are all way too powerful. Now before people start responding I will say that I have given them at fair shake at hitting. I have demoed the Pure Drive and Pure Control so don't flame. I just do not like feel or rather lack of feel with those two frames.

Aero Pro drive without cortex, definitely the good one...

There was another Babolat I played for sometime, Babolat Venom.

It was a very good racquet, but never saw it again anywhere...

This is the way constructive criticism should be given on these forums. There was no out of control ranting from goos, no unnecessary cheap shots at babolat's integrity----simply a reason with personal support. . .If a racquet company doesn't feel right to you, it doesn't feel right to you. . .This is a refreshing alternative to the incessant bashing that all-too-often occurs on these boards. . .Everyone should be as fair and succinct as goos. So often people bash babolat who have never even tried a babolat for any amount of time.

I guess Pure Storm because that's what I play with, but actually Pure Control is better-looking I think.

Oh my favorite frame is Aeropro Drive Cortex. Good Pop, just enough power at the right tension, massive spin, and very forgiving.

Babolats are all about power and spin.

mine was delayed as well but only for like 5 days 2 of those days was cause they got their shipment late, the other three was cause they were lazy about it lol. and they compensated me for it by giving me free string and stringing. Then they didnt string it with teh correct string so they sent me two packs of over grip the proper string and some stencil ink.

  38. Purely subjective. Some people say yes, I would say no. Both are very good.

would like to give one of those babs a try. just need to find a model that i can hit 1HBH topspin, low slice, flat and won't kill my arm. the storm specs look good.

The "kill my arm" part is one thing that worries me about my APDCs. I have a real sensitive arm so I tend to stick with real flexy (and most of the time heavy) frames with soft strings (no polys or aramids). I'm fortunate right now that my APDCs aren't too bad. The Pure Storm has me curious too.

Is there a big difference between the aero storm and the aero pro control?
If you have some lead tape I think the VS NCT tour is a nice stick.
