Reese's would taste better if they were made by someone else.. But then again, anyone can make a peanut butter cup. Getting tired of Mars actually. They jumped the shark years ago..

The only chocolate I've ever encountered, and would not eat unless under dire circumstances, is the dark chocolate Hershey Miniatures, and those Palmer Chocolate Easter rabbits. The Palmer chocolates taste like brown flavored wax.

Do not care for dark chocolate at all. :-(

I would agree the chocolate on many of the big U.S candy bars aren't that great. I.e Sneakers bars. But that chocolates purpose is solely to compliment all the great candy that is inside it.

I do like Cadbury and Dove chocolates.

Favorite candy: Reese Eggs (prefer over the cups due to the higher peanut butter to chocolate ratio), Reese Sticks, Junior Mints, Nerds, Peanut Butter M & M 's, Heath Toffee Bars, Sneakers, Milky Way, Mounds, Butterfinger, Baby Ruth. The Hersheys Cookies and Cream bar is pretty good. And how can you not like the Hershey Kisses? I like the ones with almonds... and the peppermint flavored that is sold at Xmas. :)

Frankly I think that very few people will actually eat those but I am told that crocodiles actually love them.

Depends when you eat it. If it's for desert, then maybe its those fancy kinds. But if you're hungy and need something quick, what beats a snickers bar?

    Butterscotch, the destroyer of molars.

If you know that one you probably know this one as well (which is really not chocolate by common standards):

I did get what are you trying to say, but your attempt of a "joke" is still quite offending, disrespectful and xenophobic. It let a very bad taste in my mouth and I felt offended indeed. The only worse thing was your reaction after. I really thought you are much better than this, but I guess I was wrong. Sorry to say, but I lost a lot of respect fro you in this thread. Ow well that is life.

Sorry for this off topic remark but had to answer. Please go on. Lots of nice tasty chocolates.

Crapp. I say bring back the trans fat. It was/is delicious. Girl Scout Cookies ,Chips, con queso... all have suffered a 20% decline in taste. You can drink and smoke marijuana but you can't eat a little lard? That b.s happens in Europe, not the U.S.A!

Are American candy bars (Snickers, Reeses, Kit Kat, Milky Way, Butterfinger) popular in Europe? Other than the chocolate bars, what kind of candy bars come from Europe?

Some of my favorites no longer made: The Marathon Bar (pure Carmel wrapped in chocolate twists..lasts a goood long time) and Oompa Loompas from Wonka.

Hmm, I like Snickers, Kit Kat, Flake, Summer Roll, Moro Gold...

King size bars I usually get coconut rough, fruit and nut, black forest or crunchie.

    Toblerone is also nice.

Another disappointing post. I really thought you are better than this. A shame really. Another one on ignore list.

Anyway. I am quite surprised no one mentioned Ferrero-Rocher so far:

Strolling down the biscuits/chocolate/lollies/ETC aisle at my local supermarket, out of the corner of my eye I noticed the Lindt chocolate with Inteense Orange. Remembering that this Chicos favourite chocolate, I decided to give it a go!...Well done Chico. Well done. 10/10!

World Market sells a house brand of chocolate bars, and one of them is "Blood Orange" favored. Not bad, but not as good as the Lindt.
