I would have to say mine is Notting Hill and Serendipity...what about you guys/gals?
I don't really see a lot of those, but I remember I enjoyed Along Came Polly and the Adam Sandler movie where there girl has memory loss and he has to remind her of her life every morning, I forget what it's called.
50 First Dates
my Favorite Romantic Comedy is: The Wedding Crasher.............(not sure how romantic it is but funny as hell)
'The apartment' from 1960 with Jack Lemmon
i prefer The Wedding Singer
I own that movie...great one! Jack Lemmon is a master actor, I love him in The Out-of-Towners.
My favorite has to be 'When Harry Met Sally'. Meg Ryan is a bit annoying but all in all a great comedy.
oooo, forgot about that one. Yeah, that's great. Love the music too.
Love actually. I absolutely adore that film...it's like a fairy-tale.
I liked "French Kiss". Kevin Kline is awesome in that movie, and I am not a Meg Ryan fan, but her neorotic personality fit that particular film very well.
I oppose on principal any movie where people get together and kiss over swelling music in either a rain or snow storm. Smarter people kiss inside where they won't catch pneumonia.
I don't really like romantic comedy (though I already picked a movie in one of my earlier posts). For a change, they should make a movie in which the guy ends up losing the girl to someone and either
a. kills both the girl and her new guy because he is too possessive
b. accepts life for what it is and moves on
c. accepts life for what it is but is too attached to the girl to even think about being with someone else but is happy she has atleast found love in someone else
I suppose I am just too addicted to bollywood movies
This is another great movie...funny as hell!
It's got everything...great story, funny lines, tons of great actors, all around X-mas cheer and oh yeah...
Hot naked chicks!
Well, at least one naked girl.
One naked girl or one naked woman?because if you like naked girls...that ain't cool man...
Relax there Officer...I'm pretty sure you know what I meant.
Keep your pedophile tendencies to yourself.
Roxanne with Steve Martin
I like several of the others that have been mentioned here too though.
Another good one is Four Weddings and a Funeral. (Who can ever forget Rowan Atkinsons priest in that movie...
Yes, Roxanne is a good one! Steve Martin is great in this. Plus, to tie it into this forum, he plays tennis on the noggins of a couple of bullies who make fun of his nose!
Another great Steve Martin movie (or two-the sequal also) is:
Father of the Bride
Father of the Bride II
Martin Short is hilarious in these two pics also.
yeah the apartment is wonderful so is breakfast at Tiffany's. I alos like xmas in connenicutt even though I'm jewish.
ROXANNE, havent seen that movie for the longest time. great movie for me and my gf during christmas when she comes visit.
I was joking...gosh...
'The Forty Year Old Virgin' and 'Mickey Blue Eyes' are my favorites. Also, 'The Princess Bride' is excellent.
Favorite romantic comedy? How 'bout "Deliverance"?<G>Hehehe.. Just kidding. I think "When Harry Met Sally" would have to be pretty high up there.
Best movie ever made.
I think I'll agree about Serendipity; it's definitely one of my favorite romantic comedies especially because of John Cusack. Sleepless in Seattle was okay, too.
My Best Friend's Wedding
When Harry Met Sally
About Last Night (classic with Rob Lowe and Demi Moore. Jim Belushi is absolutely hilarious!)
10 (how can you turn down Bo Derek!)
Hitch and Wedding Crashers
Favorite Romantic Comedy?
I'm thinking Megacedu and Phil
(or is it Deuce that's always on her case?)
That is nothing to joke about. So, please think twice before posting such vile assumptions about people you know nothing about.
Let's leave it at that and I'll give you a free pass...this time.
BACK TO THE TOPIC AT HAND:
How about John Cusack's movies?:
Say Anything... ("Lloyd, Lloyd, all null and void!" ...funny stuff...)
High Fidelity (Jack Black kills in this movie...that guy is sooooooo funny.)
Grosse Pointe Blank (with the uniquely sexy Minnie Driver.)
I love great movies...I'm sure I'll think of more later. Since it is Friday, and, who works on Friday?
Gotta go...there's the boss!
Not sure I agree with that. For sure, it is the top three, along with Airplane! and Blazing Saddles.
"You have clearance, Clarence." "Roger, Roger. What's our vector, Victor?"
On the serious side, "The Power of One" has to be one of the best movies made.
Romatic comedy, "Return to Me" is my favorite.
what about gremlins
If you like Cusack, then you need to rent "The Sure Thing." Nicollette Sheridan at her best...
Also a very cool movie...John Cusack has always been one of my favorite actors. Actually, his sister, is high on my list too. She is so funny in too many roles to mention. One of my favorites being 'Where the Heart Is' with Natalie Portman.
Gotta be "Kung Pow"
When the Chosen one finally professes his love to Ling...Weeeouuu!
"Princess Bride" is fantastic
"Notting Hill" stands out as a "watch again" movie
Never cared for Harry & Sally...
I always liked "10 things I hate about you"
Very funny. It's a two-fer one deal.
Better Off Dead!
"THE WHOLE MOUNTAIN IS PURE SNOW!"
When Harry Met Sally
and don't call me Shirley.
Bridgette Jones 1
Star Wars Episode 3.
There's Something About Mary
"Clean the pipes"
Bobby (Adam) and Vicky V. get married and have several other romantic seens.
Love that movie! Two dollars! I want my two dollars!
Surprised you didn't say "10 Things I Hate About You" give your avatar.
For older movies, I liked Mannequin and Breakfast Club.
Newer ones, I liked Lampoon's Van Wilder.
love actually very funny movie
I thought the title said " What is your favorite Romantic Candy". I was like, wow.
