favorite string would most likely be VS Gut. But alas, it is too expensive, and doesn't last me more than 1-2 hours.

solinco tour bite. but if hybrids count, i like solinco vanquish in the mains and tour bite in the crosses. This gives a little more touch and feel, and some power, but loses a little control.

VS Team 17. But, I don't use it because of the price.

My favorite string at the moment is Dynamite 17, but I'm looking to try the Dynamite Soft once it comes in.

I'd also like to try some of the other Pacific guts like Tough Gut 16L, but cost is an issue for me at the moment.

VS Team is the best for me. In terms of reasonably priced strings I love Luxilon BBO.

You like the power synthetic do you think it would be good tostring a whole raquet with it. My favorite is Dunlop synthetic 17.

In just about every way, my favorite string is Ashaway Kevlar 18 mains at 50 lbs with Gosen Sheep Micro 17 crosses at 55 lbs. The only problem I have with this set-up is that it makes my arm just a little sore, and occasionally I find that the stringbed is too lively. Also, the strings move a LOT. However it's got tons of power, durability and playability, feel, spin, and bite. It outperforms almost all other strings in overall characteristics,

The only comparable string I've found lately has been TF Black Code 18 at 50 lbs, and I love it because it's softer, durability isn't an issue for me since I use a closed string pattern and a flat swing, it has a little more spin, and virtually no string movement. The only downside to this string is I don't know long it will stay playable, and I'm having a little trouble on drop volleys. But if this string stays playable for a long time, it might be worth the switch for me.

SPPP or Tour Bite. Can't decide so I have half my playing racquets strung with one and half with the other. If I need a little extra juice i go with a racquet strung with TB. If I am hitting long I go with SPPP. I was skeptical about using this system but it has worked out beautifully.

#1 String Combo: Babolat Tonic Natural Gut 16G in the mains with Signum Pro Hyperion in the crosses
#2 String Combo: Tecnifibre NRG2 16G mains with Signum Pro Hyperion in the crosses

String of interest: gamma zo twist 16g: pentagonal string that is twisted. Tried it today and it does play nice. Very good spin and a soft poly. Not sure about tension retension as I only played a couple of sets of doubles, but very interesting string. Not sure if it would be a good hybrid as it is very rough and would likely saw thru a nylon or multi.

Forten nylon bay-be. Cheap. Not as stiff as polys. But not flimsy either. And at $.95 a full job did I mention cheap? I create a Lot of spin and it seems to flatten the ball out.
I'm sure there are better strings, but this is my fave.

RPM Blast gives me the most spin of any string, and it was amazing to hit with....for a few hours.

Hurricane was amazing for me, but I continuously experienced arm problems with it.

Therefore, currently my favorite is the stuff I am using right now which is Polystar Energy. Cheap for a poly but same performance as Hurricane for me.

Pro Hurricane Tour 16 is my favorite with Gosen Polylon 16 not far behind. I love a stiff stringbed.
