I own both 98's and 93's (PT280's and Diablo Mids), but I only play with the 93's these days. When I switched from the 98 to the 93, my game jumped up a rating level almost overnight. I credit a great deal of my improvement to my switch to a midsize.

The same happened to me when I went from a TT Hornet MP to a Diablo Midsize; a big jump in weight, I know - but I was still able to adjust within a couple days and I was hitting better than ever with the Diablo. It didn't even seem like I lost much in terms of power; but I got a lot more control out of the Diablo! But now, I use Vantage 90's; I just prefer the smaller racquets; the bigger headsizes to me, regardless of what advantages and disadvantages they have, and regardless of what the smaller headsizes have - just feel unwieldable swinging through the air. So in reality, maybe in the long run, it won't help my game, but it sure feels better!

I'm using a Lm radical mp. I guess it would be 95 as people say it is and not the 98 head says as they measure from the outside of the frame.

Does the Prestige Mid fall under 85-90 or 92-95?

I think 92-95. The 95 sq.in. will become the new mid, & midplus will start from 98... that's the trend that I'm seeing. :D

Since my first post above, I have switched from the Diablo to the Donnay Borg Pro, and am now a 7.0 touring professional with a supermodel wife, a pop star mistress, and a seven figure endorsement deal. I don't know why I didn't do this sooner.

Have you considered the Donnay Borg Pro? Everything you love about the T90, but more! (Except hitting surface, of course.)

Thank you, I guess, but it was short-lived.

I grew briefly famous, got an endorsement deal from a well-known German manufacturer, was forced to play with one of their MP frames, and quickly developed tennis elbow. My arm and my game went in the crapper, and now I'm a club pro. Such is the circle of life, I suppose. I'm off to sulk. Too embarrassed to carry on here.

3x Dunlop M-Fil 300; HM 300g and Maxply McEnroe as backup sticks. All 98si...

Before I was using Babolat APD Std., and prior to that the LM Prestige MP. I have found that the 97-100 heads fit my game the best. Any smaller and I struggle with volleys and overheads; any larger and I'm spraying balls all over the place!

100 sq-in is the minimum for me. In a few years time, I'll be going into the snow-shoe territory.

93" Tour Diablo is my main racquet. I also have a Yonex RDS 001 mid (90), a nCode 6.1 Tour (90), and two 95" racquets from my HS days (an HPS 5.0 or something like that and a HPS 6.1). And, I'm getting a Pro Staff Original (85) from another member here soon.

    85s, 90s (PS Tour 90s, RDX Mids), and 95s (MP-3i, others).

Have a couple of favorite oversizes - M Speed 105 and Prince DB 26 - but don't play them much these days.

Two REALLY good 100s: PK Type R and Yonex RQ7 Tour (both volley incredibly well).

I hit my most amazing, most satisfying shots with PS 6.0 85s.

I've heard Head calculates head sizes including frames and the string
bed is 3-4 smaller. So my Prestige Mid plus is more like 95...
