....havent heard anything about it, just wondering if anyone else had
they shouldn't have played the first one, it was ridiculous.
i thought it was pretty cool
Whenever the next sponsor agrees to pay them millions for a meaningless exo to which clueless fans will attach enormous significance.
IMO, all it proved was that Nadal was better suited to unpredictable natural-surface bounces.
its hard cause no other surface combination draws any intrigue; the whole selling point was king of grass vs king of clay, FO champ vs. Wimby champ, etc....
I don't think there is much marketability to any other surface combo, its kind of one of those one and done things
I heard it was also dangerous for both players. Switching from grass to clay meant shoe changes every change over and the different surfaces had to have affected their bodies.
Rafa played against Serena on water.... although that drew less excitement.
it was a silly publicity stunt.
Eh? They switched ends as per usual.
I hope to god this isn't done again.
They should only do it again for the next grass court and clay champions IMO.
