I was just curious to see the number of people in the Odds & Ends section of the forums that don't play tennis...I injured my knee so i won't be able to play sports at all for another 5 months. But, even before I had my surgery (June 2nd of 2009) I quit playing tennis and hadn't played a game of it for about a year. I just lost interest....after my High school season was over i just lost motivation to play...USTA memberships / Tournament entry fees cost too much and I did not want to sacrifice my studies to play for my college.

Yesterday, I lost 6-4 6-6 (8-6) but I pulled a muscle in my thigh right next to my, ahem, area. I still managed to fight and get to the tiebreak even after pulling it 3-4 in the first.

Put me in the last nite club as well. Just played 1 set against a former D1 college player that is a fair bit younger than me. Almost broke for 6-3, but served it out for 6-4.

Yesterday evening and lost 6-3, 6-2. Lots of duece games and just my final shots weren'tthe best on key points. I rolled my left ankle when I got home, so I will be resting probably till the weekend.

I played on Sunday against a friend who fancied a game, it was 6-0, 6-0, 6-1 but he had fun I think.

played today as well if you don't take into the account the time. I'll probably end up playing later on today too though.
