What year do you think Nadal will win Wimbledon for the first time?

I am not sure what you mean by that. You think they will keep slowing it down even though everyone is complaining already?

Yes, i think that.Lets be honest, Nadal has more flair then Roger. He has that young Agassi look.I think they will keep it slow.

I disagree. I think they will speed it up since there is too much complaining already. Nadal will still adapt enough to win, but they will also be speeding up the surface in the coming years since too many people are upset about it now.

Federer says he is not retiring until 2012. He wont win it the next 5 years in a row all or anything.

He's better win it within 3 years. Otherwise I lose my $100 bet I made
    with "federerhoogenbandfan" 2 years ago.

Given the way he's played this year and the condensed number of matches he's played, I think he has a shot next year. Does anyone agree with me that though he's mentally tough, playing 5 matches 5 days in a row probably took a bit of a toll on him?

Updated prediction: 2010. I saw it in a dream when I took a nap this afternoon.

Something tells me Djoko is taking it next year and Roger will rekindle the flame in 2009.

Remember: this is classified information .. it can win you millions of dollars in bets, but don't let it spread because our collective greed can only lead to one outcome: dirty stinking apes presiding over earth.

He will win it soon, he has made a believer of me on grass and I can't wait to see what he brings to the table next year.

Whether they are slowing down or speeding up the grass, Nadal is adaptive enough to win. IMO, the strongest contender of Nadal is not Federer but Djokovic. Federer might slow himself down a bit since he's won 5 in a row.

I would say 2009. I think Federer has one more Wimbledon at being better than Nadal. After that Nadal has a good shot of winning it.

Djokovic is a bit overrated i think.
he is a very good player for sure but i don t find his game that impressive.
For example,i find Baghdatis and Gasquet's games more impressive and more attractive to watch......too bad they both lack a bit of consistancy.

I want him to win it and God only know when...he is more motivated and more ambitious on grass and clay than on those hard courts...

Nadal is going to win the career grand slam and all the masters series titles as all the organizers are going to slow down all the courts for him, this is insider info from ACE of Hearts, and we all know he has never been wrong.

Maybe, but maybe it is like others say that with grass slower it is now a better surface for him then hard courts.

Never. By the time Fed retires, Nadal will be no good / the next gen of Nadals will be kicking Nadal's butt / Novak will be healthy enough to annihilate Nadal.

I think he could win it if Federer was beaten before he got to meet Nadal in the final. But by the time that happens Nadal could be out of his prime.

As they continue to slow the game down his chances will improve. That combined with Federer being older, he will probably have his best chance in a few more years.

Those 'high' bounces are nothing compared to what you would see on clay or hard court. The weather was warm, making the balls bounce higher than usual.

Federer did not have trouble handling them on his backhand, Nadal did not execute the high backhand strategy like he did every single time on clay.

I have a conflicting rooting interests here. In a way I would love to see Roger win the next 3 Wimbledons to have the record of 8, plus 8 straight. Then again I would maybe worry if Nadal does not win one of the next 3, then he will never win it. I just would be very unhappy if someone else won it, so hopefully either way it is one of them, but Roger is the favorite still here.
