Where can I get the power pads that Roger uses for his BLX?

    Shoe repair shops sometimes sell strips of it just cut them to size !

    If you want a 'new' look, look up 'Tandy Leather Factory' online and you can buy natural leather belt keepers (part of the belt the keep the end next to the belt) that are over 2" long for less than a dollar.

    For a bigger inventory, you can buy natural leather belt strips for about $7 for a 1/2" x 72" strip. That should last you a long time!

    Do a Google search for GSS. Their online store sells ready-to-cut power pads

    On a side note, power pads don't really do too much

    Do I have to install them myselves or can the stringers do them for me if i provide them with the material?

    Any old bit of leather will do.

    They're pretty useless anyway. For Fed copycats only.

    Just buy some leather grips and cut them up

    Actually I think you should use them if you are using natural gut, just as a precaution and usually on the outter mains.
