Where do you want Federer to play his last tournament?

    Basel. He clearly cares for the tournament as shown by his reaction when he won it in 2011, he was getting choked up in his winners speech.

    It also has the benefit of being 1) his home tournament, and 2) at the end of the season so he can still play the majors and other tournaments, even if he doesn't qualify for the WTF.

    It wouldn't make sense IMHO for him to retire at Wimbledon when he has tournaments he can play in Switzerland (in front of his home crowd) afterwards.

    I don't think he'll retire anytime soon. However, when he does, I think the World Tour Finals makes sense. It's the last tournament of the season, one he cared and won many times. Some might say he may not even qualify for it when he retires, but that's another story.
