    Where on earth is bright Super Mario? Does anyone know what happened to him? Is he sick or something? I haven't seen him play in 2009 yet. Info please. His an amazing player.

    Mario is working on his fitness with his coach, I believe he started with tennis trainings a few days ago, he still feels some difficulties because of the mononucleosis he had some time ago.

    He's still trying to find his former form after his bout of mono. Just like Federer. :(

    Yep, if it weren't for mono Federer would never have lost to Nadal.

    Now his mono was serious but I gather he got over it. I don't think mono sticks with you for the rest of your life, but don't really know. Of course Roger had a "touch of mono" so maybe thats the standards players should use.

    He has played in 6 tournaments this year, including the AO, but hasn't played since IW last month.

    It was illness, actually, he wasn't injured. I was at the match, incredibly disappointed when he retired.
