    Hi all,

I'm thinking of buying MG Extreme Pro Teflon Grommets for two of my Extreme Pro 2008 racquets. TW has 'Extreme/Extreme Pro Grommets' but it doesn't say whether they are the Teflon ones.

I assume the Teflon grommets would fit in perfectly with the 2008 ones, correct?

Are you sure? I've never tried but when i strung one Extreme Pro 2009 from a costumer i had to skip two times on each side of the throat and with my Extreme Pros 2008 i only skip one. And the space between the throat and the first cross is way bigger in the 2008 version.

I don't know about the Head Extreme, but i'm almost sure that the grommets from HMEP09 Pro won't fit the HMEP08 PRO.

The original MG Extreme, while having the same number of strings, has a different drill pattern than the subsequent models. The teflon grommets will not fit the original Extremes.

Maybe he mistook the MG Extreme for the PRO version, if you check his racquet description.

    OK, thanks guys!

I thought it'd look nice to have a MG Ext. Pro 2008 with Teflon Grommets and that's where all the confusion begins...

    You can trust me.
I string my Extreme Pros 2008 and 2009 Extreme Pros from a friend and i'm sure they don't fit.
I can even bet my life on it and i'm not really looking foward to die
