I will be moving up to Stockton for work and was wondering where are the better places to play tennis in this city. I'm more looking for public courts where a good amount of people frequent on weekends and or nights rather than an actual club. From searching the web it looks like the STC would be a good start but if anyone lives there or has experience playing in Stockton any info would be great, thanks! :)

I lived in Stockton for a few years; Oak Park is really the only place where I've seen people try to play pick up tennis.

Okay thanks! Have you played at any of the private clubs? say Marina or any others?

I've never played at the private clubs, unfortunately. I used to live close to the Brookside CC courts, but they are almost always empty.
