I'm really torn between which of these shoes is better overall with durability, comfort, and style.

Durability goes to the Cages while comfort goes to the Vapors. You can base your decision on that.

From what I can tell the vapor is more molded to your feet and flexible with thinner material so you feel the ground.

The cage feels very stable and rock solid, higher up, lots of cushioning, stiffer shoe..better breathability.

My main concerns for a tennis sneaker are style, durability, and comfort. So I guess durability goes to the cages and comfort to the vapors. But I am not sure which is an overall nicer looking shoe

I personally like the max air over the zoom air because it offers more cushioning. The only problem with the Cages for me is that they pinch my outer bunions of my feet. That's why the Vapors fit me better. I can't really complain because the Vapors are a great shoe too. They are very comfortable out of the box.

    For me, having tried both...

The Vapors have more low-to-the-court feeling and I feel faster in them. The cushioning isn't as soft as the Cages. The uppers both feel supportive and good. Durability goes to the Cages with the 6 month warranty. Cages fit a little roomier, Vapors are more glove-like, for my feet.

No Shoe Looks Older Faster Than The Cage 11. Easy To Look Dirty. Wont Buy It Again.

Breathe Cage II. HS Tennis Team has it and it looks beautiful except the colors didn't look so nice. Now that it comes out as Black/Red, I think you should get the Cages!

I love my cages, but I have no idea what the vapors are like. Try both and see what's best for you.

put it this way, if you have good footwork, like federer, go with the vapors. if your footwork could use work, go with the cages, or if you have foot problems, go with the cages.

personally, i like the cages more. once they break in, they have the best comfort and stability around.

Your footwork doesn't really rely on the type of shoe you have. It relies on training. The shoes have very little part in it.

Vapor V's are better in feel imo, I have better contact with the ground wearing the vapors, so the comfort factor really ain't there.

The Cages are comfy as hell though.

So if you like the contact with the ground factor, Vapor Vs.
    Comfort+Durability=Cage II.

if the vapors have such great feel, why is federer the only pro on tour using them. Because Nadal, Blake, Berdych, Moya use the cages...

Who the **** cares. It's about what you like.

How many other pros on the tour now have won a grand slam using a 90 sq. inch racquet? How many other pros on the tour now have won the French Open using the APD?

Maybe Federer likes being in contact with the ground? I dunno, ask him. I'm basing it upon my experiences with the shoe.
