What I am suggesting is that those great with the stats post those stats of listed players so that we may compare their peak performances.

IMO I think that all of this is silly and that no major tennis stars are using PEDs, however others have made accusations.

All of the top 10, plus most of the top 100.

Serving faster than 130 mph? Please. Obviously PEDs.

    Where is the Agassi choice?!?!?

No way you guys actually think a late career revival, by an American post age 29, which coincided directly with the zenith of Major League Baseball's steroid problem, where multiple people were hitting 70+ Home Runs a year. Not to mention the guy admitted in his book that he took recreational drugs. Natural psychology dictates that people tend to spill half truths, in attempt to cover up the 'worse half'.

"Yeah, I did recreational drugs....I'll admit that, so you think that If I were taking PEDs, I would have probably admitted that too, you guys trust me, right?

Just wait until Milos Raonic breaks the top 10, of course his serve will be due to PEDs :D #JustSayin'

THE OP surely picked Federer and I surely picked Nadal.

Still I don't think any of them took it....it won't help plus there aren't great masking drugs avaliable. If there were...ATP would find out anyways. These players have their pride and drugs can only make you powerful and fast but they can never make you think better on the court.

Masking drugs aren't necessary if you stay under the testing limits, which happen to be 6 times over adult male averages. Only than do they order further testing.

Innocent until proven guilty is for criminal prosecution, We can consider this a civil matter all that is necessary is preponderance above a 50% chance.

One of the truest things ever said on this board on this topic.

It is so common - I've got mates who took PEDs (bodybuilding wannabes back in the day) - and who I actually saw inject themselves while at their place and also openly admitted it... Only to see them years later (when they had moved on from such folly) flat deny it to someone else with the added "I tried them once but they didn't work for me... bla bla"

Disgraceful thread. Making accusations with zero evidence is not done.

The thread is made to bring out the Rafa haters. This website has the highest percentage of frustrated people of any forum that I have ever visited...

I liked it when people used to believe that you got where you are by earning it. People aren't as optimistic anymore, there's always an excuse now when people are better or the best.

We live in an excuse culture especially some people around here. When I joined I wanted to talk and learn about tennis. Turns out many are more interested in bashing the opponent of their beloved player.

You make it sound like 70+ homers was a common occurrence in this time frame. Aren't you a baseball historian? Wouldn't you be better off saying multiple people were hitting 60+ home runs a year, which was true.

I've taken DMAA before and it helps with lifting and playing sports. Played basketball while on it and I definitely sped up. Helps with focusing too, like aderol for sports.

Please tell me you don't believe that...

You still have to work extremely hard if you are using PEDs, especially when everyone else is. You can't get to the top without earning it.

I know. There are a lot of idiots in the world that is for sure. I guess it is better to be ignorant.

What does optimism and earning something have to do with PED's in the sports industry? You can be optimistic but at the same time realize that PED use is widespread in the sports world. I seriously cannot fathom how somebody could think that the possiblility of PED use does not exist with all of the stories that we have heard in the news for years and years and knowing how competitive world class sports is. It simply boggles my mind that people refuse to entertain the idea of athletes taking something to compete in a billion dollar industry. No educated person that is involved in the professional or business world could possibly not at least entertain the idea, at least nobody I know in that world. It simply defies logic and common sense to fully refute the idea.

Each to his or her own though I guess.

Good point. In order to be a top player one still has to have talent and determination. PED's are not some magical solution. They just offer an extra edge to an already talented player. Players still have to work hard to get to the very top.

How dirty are the pro sports today? Tough question.
I think thy are pretty dirty.

Federer can play 5 sets with barely breaking a set hitting huge forehands, serves and covering the court with ease.
Remember the marathon Match between Isner and Mathieu?
Nadal can run for hours like a bunny.
    ............

Due to some cheaters is now easy to suspect everybody.
10% or 40% or 60% - how many of them are cheating?

This thread is starting to read like a sad attempt at making sense of the fact that atp players are as good as they are and have achieved what posters could not achieve.

Yes, it's likely that some pros use performing enhancing drugs but it is just dumb to BELIEVE things that are based on nothing but conjecture.
